I like assembling furniture, however this one was more tedious than others. There are easily over 100 screws to this thing and none of them are predrilled. It took two of us a little over two hours to assemble this piece. However it is still not finished because there is a defect on one of the drawers (hence only 3 stars). I have contacted the manufacturer for new drawer parts and will update my review if they send us correct parts.The rest of the piece looks great. I was worried about there being too much of a glossy finish but it is a matte finish. I think it looks better in person than in the photos, I am very pleased with the look of it. Not too sure about the sturdiness yet, will definitely need to go and tighten more screws until it feels more solid.Overall looks great, hard to assemble, waiting on a defective drawer.EDIT: The manufacturer did send us a new drawer piece two weeks after we contacted them. TV stand now looks great.

I love everything about this t.v. stand. The quality is off the hook yall!! I am not kidding. It is NOT cheap particle board!! IT IS REAL WOOD { where is counts the most} except the bottom of the drawers and the back panel of the stand. but still.... IT IS AWESOME!!I am so sick of the crap pieces of furniture that is out there being sold. That crap is so heavy because of all the glue they used to hold the particles together and it doesn't hold up at all nor will it stand the test of time.Nevertheless, I put the stand up in the "parlor room" I have an older flat panel/flat screen t.v. that I needed to use the stand for. This t.v is super heavy. { I believe it is a 55 inch plasma? I am not a 100 % on the size. This t.v was over 1k when I purchased it back in 2005. } It definitely feels like it is close to 100 pounds, no doubt. I was concerned the stand could not or would not withstand the weight of the t.v. when we finally got the t.v. up on the stand I actually saw the top portion look like it just sank down a little. { I was thinking oh my goodness... it is going to bow , bend or break... to my surprise it is still standing..} I am pretty certain the whole 250 lbs of weight that is said it can support, is more than likely the "OVERALL" weight, including what is places on the two selves and also in the 3 drawers. {?} My t.v. stand did not arrive in perfect condition. The way the legs are in a separate box inside the main box along with the hardware. There is nothing separating the 2 sets of 2 legs inside. One set of the legs must have gotten wedged in between the hardware or something and it caused the other set of legs to cause damage to the other set more than likely in transit.I reached out to the company. They responded super quick and we got everything resolved in no time and they graciously handled the issue in a hurry!These guys are awesome! So, if your item arrives damaged, don't blame them, just reach out to them. They are not the ones that pack and box things up and they are definitely not the delivery service either, which is where most damages occur. I would definitely buy real wood furniture from this company again just because they are an overall great company!

This beautiful stand fits our 55" flatscreen TV perfectly. Anything larger and it might dwarf the size of the stand. Assembly took me two days (just because I got tired), but the instructions are very clear and include illustrations. It says not to use power tools, but I finally had to use my cordless drill. There are at least 80 screws and pilot holes are not drilled for most of them. Assemble it on a large workbench - I used my dining room table - because crouching on the floor to get all the screws placed will wear you out. All that said, this is a sturdy, heavy, and absolutely gorgeous stand. The shipping box weighs about 75 pounds, so it helps if you have a partner. Other than helping me move the box and hold a couple bigger pieces during assembly, I put the whole thing together by myself. Start charging your power drill now - it needs a phillip's head bit - and it'll save you a lot of effort.

Although the assembly wasn’t easy and the quality of the wood is not the best, it’s really beautiful. The color and dimensions are exactly what I wanted. I recommend it!

Took me a total of 3 days to get this TV stand together. The first day I gave up....the 2nd day I took the day off and came back to it on the third day. I still couldn't figure out the drawers, luckily i have a very handy father who helped me get the drawers working right. The drawers are a PAIN, if you want something easy to put together this is not for you. But it is beautiful regardless
