Can 6" x 1" width wheels be used with this grinder?

Possibly, but it would be tight. The arbor has to not protrude beyond the 1" width, in order to leave enough room on the outside of the shaft, for tightening hardware. Best contact Wen.

The instructions say light bulb of 120 volts and no more than 50 watts but the light shade says 40 watts max. which is it?

I used an LED bulb in it and got all the light I needed. My bulb draws 20 watts. I'd go with the shade specs, just to be safe.

What size is the shaft? I wanna put a wire wheel on one side. Is 3/4. Or 5/8?

I never had my wheels off but in description says 6”x 3/4” wheels with 1/2”arbors … hope that helps.

Why is the 2016 model more expensive than the 2021? Is it better?

Dont order it . Its really sucks. No power takes forever to start uo and motor is very poor quality
