In the box you get as follows:- The Pixel Stand wireless charger- A 1.5m long USB-C to USB-C cable- A 30W USB-C Google chargerThe Pixel Stand itself----------------------------------------------------The pixel stand is a very solid feeling charger, it's got some heft to it and is has soft-touch plastic shell which gives it a very premium feel.The only issue I have with it physically is dust, as the soft-touch plastic shell I mentioned earlier has a tendency to collect dust and isn't seamless to wipe down standard smooth plastic as the soft-touch adds a bit of resistance when wiping it.Using the Pixel Stand-----------------------------------------------------When you place your phone on the stand, a white indicator LED will light up on the front of the base - this LED is your status indicator and will also let you know if there's any errors/issues when it turns to an orange colour.The stand provides up to 23W of charging on supported Pixel phones and charges my Pixel rather quickly, usually finishing before the estimated time remaining. In the stand, there's a blower style cooler that directs air downwards inside the stand, allowing it to flow from the base's vent upwards, cooling the phone as it charges (which is important for wireless charging as the higher wattage you charge wirelessly, the more heat is produced). The fan can get fairly audible, especially if you've got the charging mode set to max, but luckily it's not an annoying noise like you'd find on some laptops that use similar sorts of fans and you can barely hear it from a distance.While the phone is charging, if you have a supported Pixel phone it will turn on the always on display and a tap of the screen will present you with home controls to control your compatible smart devices as well as charging modes if you want to adjust the speed of charging between quiet and max.Jumping into the options for the stand (Settings > Connected devices > See all > Pixel Stand Gen 2) there's a bunch of settings you can change which I have attached to this review if you're interested.If you own a pair of Pixel buds, you can also charge them using the stand by seating them in the small dome insert of the base.Value?-----------------------------------------------------At the time of writing this review, the cable and charger are valued as follows:Google 30 W USB-C power charger - £25Google USB-C to USB-C Cable - Between £20 & £30 (1m or 2m options)If we assume a 1.5m USB-C to USB-C would cost £25, deducting the charger and the USB-C cable, the stand would come in at around £19 which I think is a fair price.Summary-----------------------------------------------------The Pixel Stand (2nd Gen) is a very good wireless charging stand if you own a Pixel phone. It looks good, is built very well, charges compatible Pixel phones pretty fast and I'd recommend the purchase especially if it's on sale.If you own any other brand of phone, this charging stand probably isn't for you; there are better options available as this stand won't give you the full charging capability or feature functionality unless you use a compatible Pixel phone.

I purchased this item during Amazon's Black Friday Sale week which made the wireless charger great value for money in the end as it ended up having quite a hefty discount at that time.The wireless charging stand is very sturdy and doesn't slide about on shiny surfaces like my bedside cabinets, which is an added bonus. Although the charger is constructed from mainly plastic material, it manages to hold the Pixel 6 Pro and 7 Pro sturdily with no danger of it falling off.Manages to charge both devices at the full 23w charging speed which is an extra added bonus. Most other 3rd party wireless chargers are capped at a charging level below the maximum rate.The extra features that you get by using the stand are very useful and you can also use the phone easily whilst charging. It's definitely one of the better wireless chargers for the pixel devices from the 6 series and above.Really happy with this purchase and definitely don't regret my purchase. It's a great addition for any owner of the Google Pixel phone devices. I would Highly recommend.

A sturdy stand that holds its place when you are tapping your phone. Using the Pixel 6 Pro, a special home screen is supposed to appear to allow you to control your smart home etc, and this does not always activate.Also there is a media player control screen which I have only managed to make appear once.The fan can be loud, so having to remember to press the quiet/sleep button at night is a bit annoying, would be good if this could be set on a timer.A bit pricey for a charge stand, but looks good and does the jobs.

A year later and it's working fine. Bought for a pixel 7 pro and now for the pixel 9 pro xl it still works well. One thing I realised was that to get the maximum charging speed I cannot use the phone with a case that has mag-safe ring ( whatever you call it). With that on, you have to make sure the phone is on very precisely. Other than that does what it says.

Rubber bottom doesn't slide on surface, slightly noisy fan when on quick charge , looks great (like a air freshener ) charges my pixel 6 pro great , 3 charging speeds. Will not charge horizontally but that doesn't matter to me ..very happy , bit pricey but quality.

The charger is hefty so everything feels secure. It has a notch so you can charge your pixel buds too.Docking your Pixel phone basically turns it into a Google Home Hub.It has an integrated fan to keep everything cool while charging.When used with a Pixel phone (my experience is with the 6 and 7) you have a bunch of options that are controlled via your phone:- Quick Google Home tasks- Image slide show- Fan speed- Charge speed- Alarm optionsI wouldn't say it's worth the money but it is a cool piece of tech.
