An honest review from an honest camper.
This product is advertised as a multi tool with an axe/hammer. it failed During it's first use with dry, seasoned, straight wood with no knots, purchased from a facility that dry's wood for easy chopping, the unit failed. I am a seasoned camper/wood chopper, and i take care with my tools.I unboxed the package, put it in my bag, went to the camping location, then unpacked the tool. The pouch is sturdy material, however I think the entire multi-tool is made from a soft metal like aluminum. All of the soft metal materials fit nicely in the package, and tightly. The compass, housed in the soft, metal like handle with a rubber grip, worked as good as any cheap magnetic compass would. When going to connect the axe and handle, i noticed it's construction was wiry, and thin, held together with rivets that are likely not pressure rated for impact. the tool was lite, which is a good thing for some axes. not this one. I swung the axe into the wood in a nicely placed natural crack in the wood for maximum penetration. Not only did the axe not chop the wood (which was easily chopped with another axe from a quality company), but the axe actually broke where the pin holds in the tool. The construction is extremely cheap and bent on impact to an irrecoverable state. The tool was then useless as it was when i bought it.I could understand if the "Tool" was mislabeled, and should have been "replica" or "toy" or even "stage prop", but this is not the case. unfortunately, this is advertising gone wrong. I would be happy to answer questions about the 'tool' in question from anyone, or the company. As a secondary note, the word around the campfire was -"that's just embarrassing for a company to advertise an axe, if it won't stand up to dry splitting wood. Obviously this is some kind of scam."The other axe was a fiskars.

Decent little tool
It's ok for what it is, not real heavy duty but i did cut smaller branches with the axe, does tend to come loose but just keep an eye out for that, use it for my one day hiking pack for emergency.

Good tool kit to have in times of need.
I have looked this over and think its a good addition to my emergency prep kit, with the multi uses I did cut down on Items I stored away.

Not everything came in package
Terrible! It didn’t come with hatchet and the rating of 4plus stars must have been from the seller ratting this product!

Not Just for Camping, Great all round tool.
This multi tool is not just for camping. I have found it a very useful tool around the yard all year. I keep it on my tool bench and have use the Shovel, Axe and Saw around my yard. Nice to have all in one as well as a small shovel to help plant bulbs through out the yard.
