So far, so good!
This thing is powerful! I'm impressed at how well it works. I haven't used all it's versatile functions yet, but it performs as well as any other Multitool I've had. It's hefty, like it's made with quality, so here's hoping it has a little bit of longevity.

Fantastic tool!
Such a great deal on this tool! I can't stress enough of the value for the price paid. I used it extensively when re-carpeting a boat and it worked wonderfully. It comes with a great assortment of tool bits. If you went and bought just the bits you would pay more than the cost of the entire tool. I'm impressed, nothing feels cheaply made. Never heard of this brand and took a chance, but very very happy with the tool!

This is a great value, however out the case it is noisy. (Read review for fix)
I got this one when a previous one from a different company died after about 2 months. This has lasted very long but had always been extremely noisy. I got fed up with the noise and decided to take it apart and see what was wrong. After taking it apart and examining it, I finally figured out that the problem was not inside the machine but the noise was only coming from the blade. It didn't matter which blade, however when i took the blade off and turned it on, it ran much, much quieter. Great news but without the blade, it really isn't worth much to me no matter how quiet. I tried several things and stumbled on the cure. Just take a 3x5 card or some other thin piece of cardboard and make holes for the pins and the screw. place it on the machine, then place the blade, washer and finally the main screw and tighten them down. Turn on the machine and the noise was about 1/4 what it was before. The cardboard acts as a spacer and keeps the blade from vibrating up and down. Now it only vibrates left and right, cuts better and doesn't wake up the cat.

No parts availiable and other replacement parts don't aways work!
Tool works great at first, and if parts from Ferm or other replacement parts worked properly I would have given this tool a good review and value for the money. But as the sanding pad and the screw and pins that hold attachments wear and there are no replacement parts from Ferm available (that I can find) and generic replacement parts don't stay in place or stay tight and come loose, which make using the tool frustrating and I started to waste more time trying to keep things tight and working then it's worth. Wasted money on replacement parts that don't work well on the tool and would have been better off spending twice as much money on a better known name brand that offers replacement parts that would fit and perform better. If you will only use this tool for one or two jobs and know that once the accessories that came with it are worn it's done or vary limited, then it's a good value that works well and saves time, but if you will use this tool on more then one or two minor jobs, spend more and avoid the frustration of time loss.

Assortment of blades to try.
I bought this tool to remove an older style ceramic bathroom towel bar. It worked well but still had a hole to patch only smaller than using a mallet. The tool does get warm and the blade gets hot cutting out the grout. Came with some different blades and sanding attachments. It also is a bit heavier to maneuver but well worth the price for home use. (Update 12/10/19) After using this to cut some concrete (a rough edge) it became harder and harder to move the on/off switch. I actually had to use a small screwdriver to turn it on and off. Possible future switch failure? I will contact the seller next.

You can't go wrong at this price
I had very low expectations for the tool even though I did know it was being remaindered. FERM is no longer in the American market. I paid a bit more than eleven dollars. Ten minutes after opening the package I paid $10.55 for the second. If you are reading this and Amazon is sold out, eBay dealers are selling for just a few dollars more. Best I can research, Amazon sold this for a bit under $60 when the brand was active. The specs match up well with other multi tools in the fifty to sixty dollar range. Particular note is the 2.3 amp power. This price is where that power level reigns.Best I can describe the look and feel is similar to that of older Bosch. It is solid, heavy and nothing jiggles or rattles. The case is hard engineering plastic with rubber coverings over the hand position areas. There is a slide/click on/off switch slightly forward of where my thumb wants to rest while using the tool. There is a click dial for speed control at the back of the tool.Included is a vacuum collector to use ONLY with the sanding attachment. This is not well made in terms of fit and I'm going to make some changes before actually using this collector for work. Then again, the collector is included - I think unique. Otherwise the tool and package are about the way things were before other companies went with tool-less and/or quick change blades. The blades are retained with a screw and washer. An extra set is included. The hex wrench fits in a holder on the connecting wire. It looks like older Bosch blades will work. And others. These have a central hole for the screw and for small holes to position the quadrants of the blade. I'll take a blade with me to the store to see what fits before committing to an Amazon buy.The cord is about ten feet and includes an attached Velcro strap. There were no UL markings apparent to me. The strain relief seemed adequate. There is a UL mark on the polarized wall connector. Likely the only concession for American sales. Double insulated. Replacable brushes. (Not common now days.) Yeah, this electrical stuff may be boring but this stuff is where most power tools fail. My guess is that the on/off switch will be the first to go and there will be no available replacement parts or warranty service. The company is Dutch and has a website in English. Maybe there will be parts available from Holland, but, again, the electrics are Americanized. The 2.3 amp power is less than I'd normally consider even for light household use. But it will be fine for folks who read the directions and use the tool's rate of osculation to do the work rather than baring down on the work. These tools are by nature easy to stall and jam. That usually kills the tool. Read user reviews of most any of the brands and you'll find those stories. At the original selling price I would not have likely given much consideration to this tool. At this price - how could I have gone wrong?

Incredible bang for the buck.
Wow. Talk about bang for the buck. Great tool for houshold use. Feels much more substantial then the cheapos you get at HF. I have a cheap unit that I could not find and also needed new blades. So I figured i'd just get this for the one job I need. Really glad I did. I will not be looking for my old one - this is much better quality.I'm installing a mini split and need to cut through trim, partial cuts through studs and through shingles and the side of the house. Blew threw it all with ease - again this is not real tough stuff - but for $20 tool - it feels like ti could do a lot more.
