I installed this product on the roof and the floor of my truck. I had previously installed the less expensive Fatmat Rattletrap XXX product in the doors and the rear of the cab.I installed Stinger Roadkill Overkill adhesive dampener and Stinger Roadkill carpet pad at the same time that I installed this product and I'm very happy with the overall results. The adhesive on the Stinger Roadkill product is quite a bit stronger than the adhesive on the Fatmat product. Stinger claims that no surface prep is needed. I had some failures of the Fatmat product where I didn't follow Fatmat's instructions to clean the surface thoroughly with a product like Windex and use a heat gun to heat up the product before rolling. The Stinger product is stiffer so it is more difficult to work around sheet metal contours but I suspect that this translates into better vibration dampening once the product is installed. I was Impressed with the roadkill when I stuck a strip on the body skin through a small access hole. a small strip of the product seemed to be quite effective using the unscientific test of rapping on the sheet metal with my knuckle before and after installation.I like the packaging of the Roadkill product. I found it easier to take a sheet out of the box and trim it as needed compared to cutting the Fatmat product from a roll. There was no noticeable smell from the Stinger product. It took a few days for the smell of the Fatmat product to go away after installation. The bottom line for me is that both products are effective when properly installed. I think it is worth paying the extra money for the Stinger product.

Really helped with the rattling
Bought this to help take the rattling away in my doors and worked great. Ordering more so I can do the same in my truck and floor soon. Very sticky so be careful when you go to stick it. If the area is dirty, you’re going to waste the sheet so definitely prep the area well. Size was great and very easy to use. Happy with the final appearance and overall a very good material to use

Quieted the beast
I recently bought a used 2007 Toyota Tacoma SR5 pre-runner . My previous car was a 2000 Audi A6. I buy used cars with the intent to drive them a long time (200,000 miles). Changing to a truck from a sedan was a little bit of a change, and some of the interior creature comforts were more basic. One of the biggest differences was road noise. The A6, as you might expect, was very quiet. It is unfair to expect a truck to be as silent, but after a few long road trips the noise did begin to bother me. I researched several options for quieting the noise, including this product and others like it, closed cell foam, and mass loaded vinyl. This one appealed to me on price and ease of installation.I installed 3 sheets on the back cab wall while waiting at my kid's soccer practice. I put in 4 door sheets literally over my lunch hour. This stuff is very easy to insall. One sheet is just about perfect to cover under a door panel, with a few trim cuts. The bulk pack includes another 2 sheets, but honestly I intend to use them on my wife's car. The floor of the Tacoma actually has sound dampener and a thick carpet pad, so I'm skipping the floor.Honestly, the 7 sheets out of 9 are enough. The road noise is far less. My factory stereo sounds MUCH better. I was turning the stereo up to 40 or 45 on the highway, but now I only need to go to 30 to enjoy a clear sound. The bass response of my factory speakers is very much improved I think. Before, the side mirrors wouldn't shake on a bass-ey song. Now with the same song playing all my mirrors vibrate. I can even feel the bass better with my ass-meter. I think it is due to sealing up the holes in the door, making the door a better speaker box. I don't think I'm imagining it.Anyway, this was a very good $100 spent. I might add a subwoffer still, or maybe swap out my factory 6 1/2" speakers with better ones. But for now the main goal of reducing road noise is satisfied. I honestly hear much less road and wind noise. Great product.

Very good product
This brand works really good, I installed some on roof of my truck cab years ago and it has worked flawlessly . Just finished the entire cab with this sound deadening material , easy to install, sticks great and no smell at all.

BEST VALUE OUT THERE
I restore High End Vintage Muscle Cars and have been using Dynomat for years. Roadkill is MUCH BETTER VALUE if you compare the two side by side. If you purchase Dynomat you are simply purchasing the name. Roadkill is 33% heavier and costs 40% less than Dynomat. This is a very high quality product and the value is simply better as compared to Dynomat. Check it for yourself . . . . . go purchase the 36 Sq Foot box of Dynomat and you will pay about $149 for the box and it will weigh exactly 18.4 pounds. Now go purchase the same 36 Sq Foot box of Roadkill and you will pay about $90 and the box will weigh exactly 27.4 pounds. This is a full 9 pounds (33%) more material with a much quieter result. Just saying !!!!!

Stinger Roadkill ( Awesome )
My name is Ray Grant and I have used Stinger Roadkill in a previous car and it worked really well. This latest project car I'm working on I went with the Expert Bulk Package and once again Stinger Roadkill has proven its worth the money. Not only did it dead the vibrations but the sound quality improve as well. When applied CORRECTLY its totally awesome. I have co-workers that are building great systems and they have asked how is it possible that my car doesn't vibrate like most cars. Told them to get Roadkill by stinger cause its thicker, really easy to apply, and its cheaper than other brands. Stinger Roadkill is the truth!!!!!!!!

Dynamat is a great product but you pay a lot for the name
Dynamat is a great product but you pay a lot for the name, the Stinger is nearly half the price and every bit of the quality. I've had this installed on my car for 6 months now, through the freezing winter and it hasn't given me any trouble. The reduction in vibration in the doors, side panels and trunk is drastic. I think this will become a staple in every vehicle I own.
