First you have to like the quality and material, then the workmanship to craft that raw material into a fine garment. Check the stitching, the described color is true to the imaging, the fit is comfortable and the feel of the material is very refined.Second, a portion of the review goes to the promotional item offered and customer service; it was a surprise upon opening the long sleeve shirt. I ride mountain bikes, hike and ski. I've been looking for a base layer that can last without the weird odor from poly base layers. The wool is soft too w/o the itch. I usually wear a Large, but bought this XL which I would suggest going a size higher.AFTER A WASH: I would avoid the dryer... :/ or get the next next size up...

I have worn this product a few times as my baselayer for outdoor runs. Shirt is lightweight, comfortable and pretty much odor free. I only gave it 4 stars as I have yet to wash it, but expected good things. I would say the quality is just as good as my name brand wool products. I look forward to wearing this for many years.

Everything is good except I got these holes in it within a week. I work construction and it works good as a base layer. I havnt tested extreme cold and hot yet. Its been very comfortable working outside in texas right now as of 1/11/2023. Ive had it about a week. If its left exposed it will get holes in it and i wouldnt say it is pilling yet but the exterior is "fuzzy". i dont have experience with wool clothing so this may not be important. Dog and cat hair will collect on it fast. for what it was designed to be a base layer it likely works well. It is made in China.

I like the material and fit except for the sleeve length and body length. Compared with the Smartwool brand the item is a bit shorter with a bit shorter sleeves. A lot less expensive though!

Fit and feel are good. I usually wear small (5-9, 38 chest) but medium fits OK. Sort of between a regular and athletic fit. Would prefer an extra inch or two on the sleeves, but I have relatively long arms. Doesn't fit quite as well as the brand with the extinct elephant-like beast logo, but costs about half as much.

Would have been better if it came in actual adult sizes!

Item was delivered without problem. I have not yet worn it to assess warmth and washability, but it is soft to the touch and was very comfortable when I pulled it on. This style does not have thumb holes to keep the sleeve long on the arm, but I knew that going in. Good price for 100% Merino wool.
