Works perfectly for iPads. I work in tech at a school and this is super helpful when setting up iPads with our MDM. The light is very helpful to make sure it's plugged in and the ethernet cable is sending traffic. The cable is decently long which is great. If you are setting up iPads in bulk, this is a great tool.

Bought two, one works fine, one stopped working just after my 30 day return window closed, and I can’t find a way to contact the company anywhere to request a replacement. I wouldn’t waste my time with these.

Works great and does exactly what it says on older Gen iPads (the one's with the home button)

This unit charges my phone and is faster connecting than my previous unit with 100mbs. It's about 30% faster at minimum than my previous unit. I think lightning port by itself is 480mbs, usb 2, so that is probably why you would not get the full 1000mbs because the way apple made the port. However, this unit is still faster and for everyday use, the extra long cord is awesome.

These are the only Ethernet to Lightning adapters I've found that work with AND without supplemental power. That flexibility is awesome for our household.I also like it's relatively long cord, so that as you're holding your phone or iPad, you don't have the metal adapter right there bugging you (like most other products).For someone who is EMF aware, you need to make using stuff like this easy for other people and this adapter does the trick!(I have about 10 of them at home & business...)

These will not support speeds to 1G. I have tested these on multiple networks. I work in Fiber Telecommunications and am looking for an adapter for convenient testing from my phone. I have not been able to achieve any speeds over 300 mbps but my laptop will test over a gig on the same connection.Although this would be fine for a normal consumer, this does not allow me to get a good read of the bandwidth speeds.I will be sending out for a refund of the devices I have purchased.
