Great Knee Pads for the BlakLader Work Pants That Use Them!
I purchased these to use with my BlakLader Workwear Bantam Pants. These are great. I love the fact that there are no straps pulling and irritating the back of my knees. Also these pads stay put where they are needed and don't need constant adjusting. These are the lightweight foam versions. There is also available a gel version that is more heavy duty and costs more. They also weigh more. I would recommend them if you are doing tile installations, or any other hard surfaces kneeling work. These are more suited for me and provide ample cushioning. I do general carpentry work and am not moving heavy objects while kneeling, so I find these to be adequate. These are also so light weight that I keep them in my pants all the time until laundry time. I don't even mind walking around in public with them in.If you have blaklader pants with kneepad pockets you owe it to yourself to try these out. You don't realize how nice they are until your out working and don't have them. I have been using this pair for over 5 weeks of continuous daily work and they are holding up fine. They can be a little hard to insert and remove, but it does get easier as they wear in.Hope this review helps if your on the fence about this purchase. I consider the $ a deal considering how much they really do help your knees in the long run. If you are looking at these knee pads but don't own any Blaklader pants then I would suggest you take a look at some because they are my favorite work pants and I have now switched from Carhart to Blaklader with my wardrobe. One thing I would like to mention is that I normally wear a 32 in length and had to get a shorter 30 as they were too long. (Bantam Pants). The 30 worked great for me and raised the kneepad up to my knees. The longer 32 had the pad 1" below the top of my knees and the cuff of the pants about 2" under my heels.** Update 9.20.15 ** - Just wanted to update and say that I keep two pairs of these on hand. When you first get them they will be rigid and straight. However over time they will develop a curve in them and be form fitted to your knees, more or less. This also makes them much easier to get in and out of the knee pad pocket on your pants. Mine are still cushioning well and holding up strong. They haven't fallen apart, lost their thickness or become smelly or anything. I have found them to be a good investment, not just in keeping your knees healthy!

Would recommended - great product
Husband is a carpenter who builds decks & screened porches. He really likes these knee pads. They slide easily over his work pants and fit comfortably. Well protected when he's kneeling to work on decking, etc.He also purchased Blaklader Workwear Heavy Worker Pant with Utility Pockets - and would recommend them to anyone who works outside. The knee pads slide over the pants very nicely - comfortable & well producted.Product shipped within time frame expected & well packaged. Would recommend purchasing from seller.

Got them because they fit my pants, they work good.
They fit in my pants great, but they look like you're fitting small books into your pants over your knees. I feel like a Roblox character, very boxy. Could be a bit cheaper for what you get, but I can't complain too much. My knees don't hurt as bad anymore.

great knee pads
These knee pads are awesome. they arrived right on time through amazon. the only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is they are just a little short for the pockets in my pants if they were 2 inches longer you could trim them to fit any pocket.

I am wearing these as I type. I am not on my knees.
They are a great product, very comfortable in my Caterpillar Pants. I can't believe someone hasn't come up with this years ago. Maybe they did and wish I had known about it as there is no better way to protect your knees and be comfortable. These fit the pockets better than the ones Big R sold me to go in the Cat Pants I bought from them. Now I have bought more from Amazon for $5 less per pair and these pads for less to and they are more.

Great solution
These knee pads work great with the Blaklader Bantam pants. They slip into the knee pockets on Blaklader pants from below and are held in place by a fabric flap. Much more comfortable than knee pads that are held in place by elastic straps. If you are going to buy Blaklader pants anyway and you ever work on floors or in cramped crawlspaces or attics I would definitely recommend buying the knee pads. The surface of the foam knee pads is a little rough, making them a little tricky to slip in place while you're wearing the pants. They are easy enough to remove while you're wearing the pants and they are Much easier to slip in place before you put the pants on.

Durable workwear.
I bought these to pair with my Carhartt Men's Duck Bib Overalls. Had to modify the stitching to get them to fit proper, but they work great. I do not hesitate to drop to my knees with force. These things can take a pounding. Just be sure to take them out before a wash, as I doubt they will hold up to the heat of a dryer. Though they might, I haven't tried it.

Size posted incorrectly
These are the same size as all other knee pads and won’t fit the dumb knee pad pockets pants makers make. Good pads, but useless as they move off to the side and aren’t where you need them. Returned them.
