Easy to install on my 2000 Nissan Altima, make sure when you’re pulling your old hoses off twist and turn while pulling. Especially since they’ve been on for a long long time. Helps a ton!

The fuel filter worked with my 1996 Nissan Sentra, make sure your rubber hoses are stretched properly before installing it.

Was initially very happy to find the fuel filter at such a great price. Installed Wednesday (12/29) without any issues. Drove that day and everything seemed fine. No fuel smells, no leaks. Drove again the afternoon of 12/30 and smelled strong fuel odor. Got to my destination and popped the hood. a puddle of fuel was resting on top of the filter. I thought it was a loose clamp issue so I tightened the clamp and dried up the puddle of fuel with paper towels (disposed of properly). Thought everything was fixed. Drove this morning (12/31) and the fuel smell was as strong as ever. Got home, shut the engine off, popped the hood and noticed a fuel puddled on top of the filter again. I proceeded to start the car and went to check the filter. To my amazement and horror, fuel was shooting out of the filter itself. It appears the filter can has a crack along the lip at the top! Holy Crap!!!!! Immediately shut the car off and logged into Amazon.Submitted for a replacement, however, I don't know how smart that move was as it's possible that I can receive another defective filter and won't know until I install it. Call me stupid!To those who received a good filter, I am happy you did not have the horrible problem I had. To those thinking of purchasing this filter, you might want to think twice.(Filter was installed in 1995 Nissan Hardbody Pickup with KA24E engine)
