Wifi and Alexa work just fine (also heats nicely!)
I had no problem at all setting up WiFi or Alexa as other have reported. However a few things you need to double-check:* It only works with 2.4Ghz Wifi, not 5Ghz. I have a "dual band" router that can accept connections from either on the same network. In the past had one that created two separate networks. Nearly all routers today support both, but in some cases you need to enable the 2.4Ghz mode.* I used an iPhone X to do setup. Older phones (< iPhone 8, not sure about Android) might not work.* When setting up the Alexa skill, it creates a group within the Atomi app, and since I only have the heater, the heater is named "Heater" and the group is also named "Heater" which is kinda confusing. I think you can rename the group if you want, but the key thing is that it's that group name that Alexa will respond to, so "turn on heater" works. As a heater, I am pretty happy, although just have it now for a day. It is quiet, the heat is gentle but not wimpy, and it has a nice "swing" feature that rotates the tower back and forth. The app allows you to create schedules for on and off, which is great, as I am using it to warm up my home office. I have another normal heater that I used last year and I often forgot to turn it off, so this is a good feature for me.The broader idea is that I can use the heater to keep the room I am mainly in during the day comfortable without heating the rest of my house excessively. This worked very well last year, and I surely saved a fair amount of money. To be sure here in New England electricity prices are a lot more than natural gas prices, so there's a bit of a trade-off just in pricing. But I purchase the "100% renewable electricity" option offered by my city, and while that may not be exactly as great for the environment as having solar panels, it tends to encourage and support the transition to renewables.Bottom line: this is a good product. The app is good. The integration with Alexa works for me. And the heater does a good job for my case of keeping me comfortable at my desk during the day.

Looking for a WiFi controlled heater, found this one, glad I did.
I have all manner of space heaters, but none of them are/were WiFi capable. Remotes aplenty, yes, but controlling heater functions from another room, no. Enter the Atomi Smart Heater. I have been using it here in quite cold San Francisco (48 degrees) for about 10 months now, so I can now affirm: this is a great heater! (I apologize for the "quite cold" mischaracterization, I know that many many many Americans suffer from icicle-cold weather.)Pros:- The reason I wanted a WiFi-controlled heater is to be able to turn the heater on (that's by the front door of our apt) from the bedroom, approximately 30 minutes before we get out of bed. Also when I firmly planted in my computer desk chair, I like being able to control the heater's functions from my phone, instead of having to get up to manually adjust the heater (note: for whatever reason, at the time I bought this heater I could not find any brand or model that has BOTH WiFi phone app control, and a physical remote control. Perhaps the reason is cost-cutting, because I know technologically it can be done (my Dyson fans have both WiFi and a physical remote).- Because this is a "smart heater" I am also able to control all the heater's functions: temp, thermostat, oscillation, select operating modes, and "scheduling."- Regarding "scheduling," I can tell the heater when to turn on/off, send me a notification when the heater does what I have scheduled it to do, and opt to repeat the schedule or use it one time.- Durability and safety: The tilt feature, where if the heater tips over it turns off, works very very well. A number of times when I was moving it, on the slightest tilt it stopped. When again upright it turns back on.A few times for whatever reason (e.g., our amped-up dog, protector of the realm, chasing a gnat-sized fruit fly) the heater has been knocked down flat on its face (ouch, sorry Mr. Heater). Without flaw or incident the heater turned off.As to durability, our poor heater has been knocked over perhaps 50+ times. It has suffered no damage and continues to operate like it did on day one.- Warm and cozy: We believe and practice energy conservation. To that end, we only use space heaters in our place. (We HAVE NOT not turned on the central gas heater since 1998!) As most folks do, we use a space heater ONLY IN THE SPACE CURRENTLY OCCUPIED.This heater is set up at the end of our hallway, so that warm air blows into the kitchen, computer area, one of the bathrooms, total area about 200 sf. This heater works so well that if set to full blast it sends warm air throughout the entire apartment. In fact, after about an hour operating it I have to turn it off (rather than lower the thermostat, which would wasting energy).Note, when deciding to turn off the heater my fancy indoor/outdoor thermometer indicates it's a warm 72 degrees inside, and 50 degrees outside. That indicates this is one powerful heater.Cons:I have no "cons" to retort my pros. But hey, readers love to see a "con" or two. So the only one I can think of, that I mentioned above, I'd like these WiFi smart heaters to also include an additional physical remote control.

Love Wi-Fi connectivity but terrible temp sensor
Love that there is a WiFi enabled space heater that heats nicely & I can control remotely. You can control everything in the app that you can on the heater. However, the temperature sensor is always off by 5+ degrees which makes it really difficult to set a target temp for a room in ECO mode. I hope that this can be fixed with a firmware update and that it's not just a cheap hardware part they are using.Lastly, it is pricey but there are not many options out there YET for WiFi connected so it was a reasonable price for me.

Disappointing Performance, Short-Lived Durability
I purchased the Smart WiFi Tower Heater with high expectations due to its promising features and not-so-modest price tag. However, after a year and a half of use, I am left utterly disappointed and frustrated with the product's performance. At first, the Smart WiFi Tower Heater seemed like a reliable addition to my home, providing warmth efficiently and conveniently with its smart features. However, my satisfaction quickly turned into regret as the unit abruptly stopped heating properly. Now, it's become nothing more than a glorified fan, blowing out cold air after just a couple of minutes of operation.I expected more from a product in this price range, assuming that a higher cost would translate to better quality and longevity. Unfortunately, my investment has not paid off, and I find myself in a situation where I need to replace the heater after a mere year and a half of use.The smart features, which initially drew me to this product, are rendered useless when the primary function – heating – fails so miserably. It's frustrating to have spent a significant amount of money on a heater that now serves no purpose other than taking up space.
