Great pedal for the price. As long as you don’t jump up and down on the thing it’s solid works great
It’s great and works fine! All the volume pedals I looked at seemed to have someone complaining about some aspect of them from the expensive ones down to this? it’s not made of steel yet as long as you don’t jump up and down on it it should work fine. It does for me:)

Perfect size
Pedal fits so nicely on board. It’s the perfect size. It’s super sturdy. I can easily do swells with it. It’s really sturdy and feels like it will last for years. I love that it does not need power. It’s super simple and clean. Highly recommend.

Good quality. Just keep foot size in mind.
Works very well. I have no problems with how it performs. It's very lightweight, but doesn't feel "cheap" or like it's going to fail. But I have large feet, so I'm still getting used to having something so small under my foot. I play mostly at church, so I'm normally wearing nicer shoes while playing - not a bedroom barefoot player. If you plan to place this on a board near other pedals, keep this in mind: Even though this pedal is small, your foot/shoe is still the same size, and you need room so that you don't accidentally hit other pedals near it while operating this thing. One other thing to consider is that the bottom of the pedal is not perfectly flat, so velcro on the bottom of it won't be perfectly snug against board. It's already small, so there's less surface area for the velcro to begin with, so it doesn't seem to stick as snugly to board as I'd prefer.

Seems sturdy, limited range though
I started playing lap steel, and unfortunately the sound people at our gigs were... not on top of their game so I decided I needed a volume pedal.I chose this one since it is passive and not expensive. It does seem sturdy, though I am sitting not standing while using it so I'm not putting my full weight on it. This is my first experience with a volume pedal, and I think it would be smoother to operate if it were just a bit longer (though the small size fits in the gear bag better!). The volume range is surprisingly small - there is not a lot of difference between 'on' and 'loudest', so this probably isn't sufficient for my needs. I haven't decided yet whether to send it back or not.

Awesome pedal, requires no power. Multiple uses.
I've had one for a while and used it both as a volume pedal and an expression pedal. Then I decided I wanted to have both the same time so I ordered another one. As far as volume expression pedals go, I think this one is awesome. It's passive and doesn't require power, regardless whether you use it as a volume pedal or an expression pedal. The only thing I wish is that it had a more gradual curve as you press down and lift the pedal.

Nice design but poor function
I regularly play music and purchased this item to replace an Ernie Ball VP Jr that had broken. The chassis is very small and fits on my board well, however, the taper on volume pot it is all wrong. In the heal position, it is completely off but pressing the rocker forward almost instantly brings the volume up to full. This device is not very useful as a volume pedal, perhaps it is a decent expression pedalbut I already have one of those.
