I get the new sudoku book every year for my father for Christmas. He loves it. Does a puzzle each day.

Not happy - hard to use with this size and no spiral bound. Categories aren't standard - "cruel", "nasty", "deadly". Won't buy again.

This series is my favorite

One of the best puzzle books around. I've thinks I've had all of JB's Sudoku books and looking forward to 2018s.

best Sudoku because it goes easy moderate deadly, etc. progresses not just easy in one section , medium etcworked 2015, 2016, and 2017 and now on 2018

I love Sudoku, and regularly manage to solve a full range of puzzles, including 'Fiendish' ones from The Times.Not so with this book. In my opinion there are far too many at the most difficult end of the spectrum. 'Nasty' and 'Cruel' speak for themselves. If you can solve these, I'm sure you will love the book. Otherwise it is an expensive way of finding out what you can't do!

This book is not quite what I would expect. My wife and I have been fans of Sudoku for years but the ratings on these puzzles do not accurately reflect the difficulty.Bought another version for less than half the price...

Is not holding my interest or enthusiasm as I hoped it would

They are excellent, have had 2 previous years! Unlike other sudoku books that start simple and get harder, until they are very very difficult, the levels are all mixed up, easy , moderate,nasty,cruel, deadly, x-Deadly. You get a bit of relief after a difficult one.
