Awesome pinpointer. If you liked the White’s Bullseye TRX (no longer in production), you will love Quest XPointer Max. The XPointer Max, like the TRX, focuses detection at the pointer tip rather than the 360 detection pattern of the Garrett Carrot or the Minelab Pro-Find ( I have owned both). Even better, the XPointer Max has a built in rechargeable battery. It is has a two tone (high tone/low tone) audio for distinguishing between non ferrous and ferrous targets. It also flashes a green light for non ferrous targets and a red light for ferrous. It’s easy to program. It’s well built and sturdy. The audio is pleasant. It has good volume control. It’s waterproof. Price wise, it costs less than the Garrett or the Minelab. The button is harder to push than other pinpointers, but not unmanageable and helps protect against accidental reprogramming during operation. I highly recommend this product.

Just recived it yesterday and already put it ro the test. Feels good and sturdy everything looks to work good definitely makes it a lot easier to find the objects. The only thing I'm not liking to much are the buttons which are way to hard to press but other than that I'm really happy with it!

Great pointer — as powerful as any i have used — for years i used only whites trx pointer — this pointer is just as poweful — for me only the whites trx and quest pointer are powerful enough — all others are too weak — they no longer make the whites pointer — so this pointer came just in time!! Everything works as advertized — great pointer and i have tried at least 6 diff models

This little thing packs a punch. It's pretty strong when it comes to finding metals the only complaint I had was it didn't work well in the cold. We went for a winter hike and decided to bring it with and took it out. So I wouldn't recommend do that. Just had to see how well it would work in the cold. So other than that 10/10 rating!!

If I was 18 this would be a great pinpointer, but unfortunately I am almost 70. It takes 2 hands to turn it on or off. I 3D printer a little thing to make it easier, but in all fairness this should have been returned. How could any company make something so difficult to use, all you are supposed to do is push the button correct. Not with this, put your finger on it and push, then use your other hand and smash your other finger.

This is the best pinpointer I've used to this day, and I've used a lot. Would highly recommend it to anyone into metal detecting
