Q: How many different loops can this hold? I don't mean the time, I mean different saved loops.

Yes it has unlimited overdub but it can’t seem to save different loops for immediate playback. I’m returning it for that reason.

Q: Does it continue to trail after disengaging?

no i dont think it does. when i click it off, ive not heard any late echo.....i will say this, it is very small compared to the standard pedal size.....when i opened the package i thought it was a joke

Q: What kind of adapter? Is the tip negative?

I don’t have this particular VSN pedal. However I have a VSN Flanger and it requires a negative tip 9 volt adapter. Hope this is helpful.
