I really was excited to have the item, loved the color changing. The system was definitely loud enough, and I thought I had a good investment for the monies paid. I am so sad to post that the item did not last as advertised. I had the system for about three months, and it stopped working. I am sooo mad that I don't have a surround system for my new home.

I was skeptical at first man. Don’t get me wrong. Just like anybody else I think we’re all looking to get some decent sound quality, especially some surroundsound.So long story short, I have a simulation rig hooked up to my studio and I was looking for the best bang for my buck. I wanted to make sure the base rumble was deep enough so that when I was driving, I was simulating the rumble of the base along with cars whizzing by etc.It’s kind of hard to put it into words, but after you get everything hooked up, you can fine-tune all of your settings with an equalizer boost to travel get some more clarity and the base is absolutely insane. Once you dial the system in, it truly sounds amazing.It’s honestly an understatement for how much I could write here but it’s 100% worth it. If you’re on the fence about pulling the trigger on a little bit more power, I highly recommend this system.10 out of 10.

I do like this system but it's obviously made as cheaply as possible. All 3 larger satellite speakers have a circle and lights where there should be a speaker but there is in fact only one. They also have fake plastic tweeters in the middle that aren't functional.Also, this is marketed as a system that you can choose the lighting of for the subwoofer and satellites. The language is "the colors can change". This is strictly true in that you can turn the rotating colors off and on, but not set any static colors or patterns yourself. All the satellites are stuck on rotating RGB lights which isn't a huge deal, but doesn't allow any customization that I assume you would want if you buy an RGB speaker system. The subwoofer also rotates colors, you can't pick a solid color (for example, pulsing or solid red) and leave it there.The satellite audio quality is a bit poor, but not bad. Subwoofer sounds great. The remote allows control of each individual audio signal. Overall, it's a pretty nice system that is easy to set up and has nice long cables, with good sound quality but certainly not high quality. And that is ok, this is not a $1000 sound system.

Although there is an HDMI-shaped plug on the back, it appears only to be for ARC HDMI. ARC means Audio Return Channel. That means that although connecting your TV to your speakers would imply that you want to send a signal from the speakers to the TV, the connection can utilize the Audio Return Channel to send audio in the opposite direction: from TV to speakers.It would be wonderful if the unit had HDMI IN and HDMI OUT plugs so that you could send HDMI signal (audio and video) to the speakers and the speakers would play the sound and forward the signal to the TV (potentially with an ARC), but that is simply not the case.I spent a few hours with an HDMI cable connected between a laptop and the speakers attempting to get any signal to them, but nothing worked because it's not a general HDMI channel, but an Audio Return Channel.Besides that, the LEDs are attractive and may light an otherwise dark space a bit, the sound seems good, the subwoofer seems capable, and everything else in my short tests seems satisfactory.

Great product. BUT, no remote was in the box. Complained to amazon and they were not helpful. Just aaid look on ebay. So i did and found one that should have been in the box in the first place.

SOUND IS HORRIBLE! Subwoofer cannot be turned down or off. Rattles when on. Remaining 5 speakers are cheap and they too rattle and sound distorted. Remote control works occasionally and only when you are three feet away and it is aimed dead center to the theater system...and then it is sporadic. LED lights cannot be turned off without unplugging them. Doesn't really seem to be a true 5.1 "surround sound" system. More a glorified stereo.Although there is HDMI input, it isn't for input from DVD player. Or the coaxial cable. Only RCA cables work.The speaker cable inputs are on the wrong side of unit (red/right is on the left, and white/left is on the right) bizarre!And don't expect to find information in the manual! It is incomplete, written in broken english, with mish-mashed words. There is no troubleshooting guide to speak of. No customer service phone number. The only way to get in touch with manufacturer is via email! When I complained the remote wasn't working, Amazon sent me a replacement FOR A DIFFERENT MODEL! It took countless phone calls to AMAZON, and then they sent me the same wrong remote again (even though the right model was featured for sale including a photo, they sent the wrong one.)Bobtot took countless emails to understand the problem. It took 5 days for response! Finally got a "oops, sorry. I was looking at the wrong model" email from Bobtot. They sent the right remote, but still same problem with lack of distance and accuracy. But remote isn't the whole problem. The system itself is a joke.

Great sound and awesome addition to my wide screen.

I have test this Bobtot Surround for 2 years now, boy I have to say they're the real deal, really sound Amazing! They have surpassed our Expectations!
