Amazing
We got the older version of this for my first son but needed a new set up for our twins. I went with a different brand and not even 3 months in we hate it. So I went back to our trusty motorola with two cameras. Easy set up. Good quality and best of all you can move the cameras with the handheld and zoom! Hopefully it goes 3 plus years like my toddlers!

Great...follow up
I got the video monitor with 2 cameras so we can leave one at our house and take the other on vacation. The sound quality is good and so is the picture quality!Follow up: I still love the monitor, but I lost the book and can't seem to pair it once I'm home. I know it's supposed to be automatically paired, but in my case it isn't. HELP!!

Doesn’t last long
We originally bought the older version of this monitor in 2020 and it worked absolutely amazing! We loved it all the features were a good fit for us. Worked wonderfully for over two years! When our monitor stopped working (our fault) we immediately bought this assuming it would be the same. When we received this one in June 2023 it was very similar to our original with a few changes to the design/charging ports. Within six months we have had so many issues, the screen keeps freezing and I have to start the monitor to get it to work again. Twice it’s frozen so bad I couldn’t even turn it off/reset it I had to wait for the monitor battery to die. The audio keeps going in and out. I tried to reach out to customer service and no one got back to us, hence the review. I have a friend who has the same exact monitor purchased around the same time who has also had issues with the screen freezing and occasionally audio cutting out. I wouldn’t recommend this camera/monitor!

Older model was better
I have an older version of this and the button that switches to different cameras suddenly stopped working even though everything else worked fine. The company said they couldn’t do anything about it, so I ordered another one hoping to just use the monitor. However, this newer model will not pair with older cameras even though they look the same. I ended up having to buy a whole new set of two with a new monitor. I got it all set up and the picture quality is noticeably worse than the older model. My kids were just shapes in their beds. It was really poor quality. The cameras also have an awful bright blue light when the monitor is on and it flashes blue when the monitor switches to a different room and in a completely dark room, it’s awful. It lights up the whole room and is flashing constantly. My 8 month old woke up at 2 am screaming on the first night I had these up, and when I went in to check on him, the whole room was lit up with the flashing blue light. I boxed it all up and returned it the next day. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this brand. I’ve had several different versions of Motorola baby monitors and they all keep breaking.

A good single camera system that was poorly adapted for multiple cameras
This baby monitor would be fantastic as a single camera system. Unfortunately I bought it in a 2 camera pack and was hoping to see a monitor designed for multiple cameras. Instead it's just compatible with multiple cameras. The good stuff first. The picture quality is very good. Even if you leave the plastic on the cameras... I was still quite impressed. The cameras have pretty good pan movement and good enough tilt movement to see everything I need them to see. The wall plugs are all exactly the same so it doesn't matter which wall plugs goes to which camera and which goes to the monitor. Way to make my life easy Motorola! Very nice. The cameras have two screw mounts so you can easily and securely mount then on a wall facing down above a crib. The cameras are also surprisingly light so I'm not worried about them falling off the wall and causing damage. They're a little big but if you mount it high enough you shouldn't ever be in danger of hitting your head on it.The monitor defaults to the four direction pad controlling brightness and volume. To move the camera you have to hit the camera button and then you can move the camera. I would have preferred those to switch since I find myself moving the camera to see my very wiggly little one more than I find myself adjusting the volume but that might just be me.The lullabies are nice to have in a pinch but I wouldn't toss your dedicated sound machine yet. The monitor unit is self explanatory and I figured out nearly everything without reading the manual. The only item I didn't sort out on my own was the alarm. You can set a 2 hour, 4 hour, or 6 hour timer on the monitor that will ring for about 1 minute when it goes off. I really don't see much value in this - I'd rather use my phone to dial in a more precise time with an alarm that will wake me up if needed so I can go check on my little one. I guess it's nice to have but I don't see myself ever using it.Where this system made me sad was the multiple camera support. You can view the cameras on a 20 second cycle or so but it isn't smart enough to switch which camera you're looking at when there's movement or noise on the other camera. The cameras also have blue status lights that are solid blue when the camera is being viewed on the monitor and flash blue when it's not being viewed. They're dim so I don't think they'll disrupt my little one but it's still odd.The other multiple camera viewing option is a grid. However with two cameras it takes the center vertical slide, zooms in, and displays that side by side from both monitors. So if you don't get each monitor lined up perfectly (or if your little one moves all over their crib) you get the fun task of trying to move the camera which requires going back into single camera view, hitting the camera button, then moving it, then going back into the menu, and finally re-selecting the grid camera view. And hoping you got it centered correctly. Oh, and all the multi camera options? Far side of the menu. Yes, the menu wraps around so you can go to the last option (multi camera grid) from the first option but it still feels like multi camera support was an afterthought. I haven;t figured out if there is a way to adjust anything on a camera while staying in the multi view mode. So if I want to use both cameras at the same night (like at night) and I need to adjust anything, I'm diving in and out of the menu way too often. As a single camera baby monitor? I really like this baby monitor. But for viewing multiple cameras? The user experience isn't great. It works.... but I feel like they told an engineer to make it work with multiple cameras instead of asking parents how it ought to work.

Not my favorite model
I had an older model for 10 years. I decided to replace it when the a/c adapter would no longer connect properly and power the base unit. I was very happy with the first model so I decided to do Motorola again with a replacement. The night vision is fine, and I like the idea of the split screen, but that function is poor. The range of the unit is excellent, even better than the old model. There was no split screen on the old model, so when I struggled with the split screen, I reverted to the rotating screen. This model does not function like the old model, where you can quickly switch cameras. It takes several steps to switch cameras. The old model had a dedicated button to switch cameras, this one is a series of menu selections. When a child wakes up in the middle of the night, it's too much to fumble through the menu in the dark, half asleep. I've had the unit for over 6 months, so I've had plenty of time to try to get used to it. It needs to be easier to choose a camera or at least stop the camera rotation.

Best baby monitor in my opinion
I love this baby monitor because you do not need wifi., which means no chances with creepy hackers. You can go pretty far with it! (Not that you should). It moves as well. And for this price!? I highly recommend this baby monitor.

Péssimo
A babá eletrônica estragou em 10 meses de uso. As duas câmeras e o monitor não funcionam. A imagem fica congelada. Meu bebê acordou e eu não sabia. Pedi a nota fiscal Para entrar em contato com a motorola e o vendedor não envia. O mesmo problema aconteceu com 03 pessoas no meu prédio. Não recomendo
