Love it. I run Pro-Tools sessions out of this drive and it’s lighting fast! I have the 1TB and it does very well.

It is working great, I use it for recording with protools. Prior to getting this drive my old drive was getting speed errors during playback of my sessions. Have not had any since going to the Blackbox Plus.

The connector is of inferior design and also way too short. Could not do any backup longer than a couple of seconds without it disconnecting itself.Junk as far as I'm concerned. I returned it and I never do returns!! I think I've done 2 returns in the last 5 years.A shame because I had old Glyphs before this that were stellar. The cable is ridiculous in that it has all kinds of play in it. I'm not the only one. How could this possibly fly? Did they test it at all in the design process? Do not buy!!

I got this Glyph external hard drive after I lost all of my files and photos on two Western Digital external hard drives. I was hesitant about the getting it because of the cost, but seeing that it had an SSD in it, was fast, rugged and made in the USA, I went for it. I have a laptop with Windows, so I had to to call them to figure out to format it, since it comes formatted for Macs. They answered the call quickly, spoke English, since they’re headquartered in NY, and stayed with me until I was sure I got it formatted correctly. I copied over thousands of pictures in very few minutes, which I liked, and was super quiet. So far it’s working great! I think with the SSD in it, I won’t have the issue of losing pictures, but time will tell.

Works amazingly well and the data transfer is really fast as promised.

Fast, quiet, good price, speedy delivery. It doesn’t get any better.

You know what's annoying? Having a little message pop up in the upper right hand corner of your computer every 5 minutes saying "Glyph was not ejected properly". The cable connecting the disks is faulty, and any time I even breath on it my computer thinks it's been improperly ejected even though it's still very much plugged into my mac. I bought this product because it had an overwhelming amount of positive reviews I can't imagine I just happened to have got the only faulty cable...makes me wonder if there's something shady going on with this company and their reviews...

Very durable, USB C, External hard drive. We are using it for additional storage for a small small camera system DVR. Works flawlessly
