Got this umbrella because it was clear, and as you all know, umbrellas are quite fragile. This umbrella is a bit squeaky the first few uses, but other than that, this is a must in fashion (in case you like to see rain over your head, not get wet, and just look fabulous), and if you just like umbrellas.

I just bought this a couple months ago. Live in Arizona so not a lot of use. Went yo use it yesterday for the third time and it wouldn’t shut. Then the pieces holding it open just collapsed. Wouldn’t open fully or close. Do not buy

This is a good umbrella for a wedding party that didn't want to be difficult to take pictures when there was a rain shower during photo taking time. They did tge job well. My one complaint that cost them a star is that tge thing is difficult to collapse and get all the point tips back into place inside the handle. That task felt a bit like trying to dress an octopus - difficult, but not impossible!

I loved having this around but it broke after using it for 2 weeks.

I bought two of these umbrellas; one with white trim and one with black trim. The advantage over other fabric, is that you can simply wipe it dry and not have to wait for it to dry and, you can see where you're going so it's safer for crossing streets. The disadvantage is that it's bulkier than other fabric and doesn't roll up small for stowing in a purse or carryon as well as the fabric umbrellas.
