Does NOT work with a headset. the mic audio comes from the phone when you plug a headset into this adapter. made calls , and downloaded a mic app. my voice was only loud and clear while my phone was near my face. trying to talk into the mic of my headset from 3 ft away i cannot be heard.

needed an adapter cable for my YI 4K+ camera. Wanted to use an external microphone but the vast majority of the mics use 3.5mm end. Purchased this adapter cable which works well. Seems to be made well and should last a long time
