Have you seen the Peter O'Toole film Lawrence of Arabia?Read this for the true story on which the film is based.Wonder why US/Europe can't "get along" with the Arabs? Perhaps it might have something to do with the fact that Arab grandfathers were badly double-crossed by US/European grandfathers? That stry doesn't seem to get much "air time", on the US/European side of the divide.

I bought this for a friend. She was delighted with the book. I haven't heard anything negative back from her, which is a good sign.
