It Really Works
I purchased this backup device to save my wife's and my phone photos and save them on our home computers. I have a Pixel 8 and she has an iPhone 14. So we need one piece of equipment to work with two different systems. this product does it. After downloading the app to make the life pack up product work it took me about 10 minutes to master the app and started downloading files. I was able to back up both phones in about 15 minutes. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great product at a reasonable price for what it does (saves memories and important files that can be easily accessed).

If I trusted this device I could have lost thousands of photos.
The instructions said to back up your photos first with another device. That seemed odd since I bought it for that purpose, but I did as instructed and assumed this was a precaution for the first time only.. I then charged my phone to 100% battery and followed instructions to begin copying photos. It showed it was going to copy approximately 16,000 photos. And over night it showed it was counting photos until it reached that number and then gave a message backup was complete. I then used the USB to copy the photos to an external hard drive. However when I verified the number of photos that were baked up, there were several thousand less photos on the photo stick and the external hard drive than the number it had indicated it had backed up over night.I contacted support and was told that can happen. The number shown during the back up may not be the actual number of photos saved on the photo stick. If I had not checked and cleared the pictures from my phone, and ICloud, I could have lost several thousand photos.I do not recommend relying on this device until only actual photos copied are shown during and after backup process and you know which ones were copied so you know which ones to delete from your phone.

As advertised
Took a little bit of figuring out how to download pictures but once we figured it out, yay!

It wasn’t easy enough for me to understand
My phone storage was full with over 63,000 pictures and videos. It was telling me I had run out of storage and many of my apps would no longer work due to this. I knew I had to get pictures off my phone, but how? I’m almost 60 and not as tech savvy as I once was. This memory stick transfer tool looked like the perfect solution. Even though it was quite pricey I figured it would be a quick fix, so it would be worth it. Well, it wasn’t! It took some photos off my phone (didn’t delete them tho) and when I plugged the memory stick into my laptop for the ‘transfer magic’ to happen… nothing. What the app said should happen, didn’t. I tried for days to figure it out and couldn’t. But I DID figure out how to get my stuff in the cloud! I had my son come for a visit and asked him to clean out the memory stick so it was empty again, which he did, and I returned it. I wish it had been easier for me to use. Maybe a 20 or 30 year old would’ve understood it, but this 60 year old didn’t! Why can’t things be super simple for older folks??

Not sure
They say how much storage but it didn't take all my pictures. For the money, it was not worth it to me. I understand I might have had to many pictures. Totally up to you. Good product but was not worth the money for me.
