Love this battery!
I bought this as a replacement for my RZR, but ended up using it as my little jump battery because it handles power consumption and amperage so well. It’s very lightweight and strong. I wish it were a bit less expensive, but it definitely owns up to the price.

Absolutely Thrilled
Update (Dec 22):This battery has been awesome. Works every time. Handles cold weather really well. Absolutely ZERO complaints. Love it. 5 stars.Original review:I will say up front that I am a long-term NOCO products fan. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with both the company's products and the company's support of its products. When something has gone wrong it's been exclusively me using the products incorrectly or misunderstanding how to use the item. Now on to this NLP9 battery. The whole lithium battery "thing" where CCA are not listed was a bit confusing to me. So I wound up comparing the "compatible batteries" list on the box with those batteries' CCA listings. I still don't quite understand it all, but I have at least some amount of usable, working knowledge. Why am I writing all this down...? Well...I wanted to use this battery in a lawn tractor, but didn't know if this NLP9 would work as an acceptable substitute for the dead Mighty Max ML35-12 that had served me well over the last five years (yup, five years!). When I compared specs it seemed like it would. And it did. Other than having to come up with a mounting option that would hold the NLP9 in place (it's less than half the size of the ML35-12) it has worked flawlessly (have started/used the tractor about a half dozen times now with this NLP9). The only things I don't know is how well it will hold up over the winter without being used and how well it will hold up long-term. To be honest, based on my previous experience with NOCO jump starters (which is what the NLP9 essentially is; a lithium battery packaged solely as a vehicle battery rather than a jump starter) I'm fairly certain the answers to both questions will be "rather well" (because I had forgotten to check I've found that my Boost jump starters have held a 100 percent charge without any maintenance charging for over a year!).Price, I think, is very reasonable at $99.95 (Amazon price at time of order and review). Especially in comparison to the almost $70 a replacement Might Max ML35-12 would cost. So reasonable, in fact, that I bought a second one and am probably going to buy a third for some other homestead equipment requirements.Absolutely thrilled with this battery. Absolutely...5 stars.

Can not recommend only .6ahr SOC rated at 3ahrs
I have built three large capacity LifeP04 280 ahr for my RV. I found when you receive the 3.2V cells from China, should always run a capacity or load test to see if they match what the manufacturer stated amp hour (ahrs). The NOCO NLP9 battery stated it has a 3ahr rating. I charged the battery with a 4 amp LifeP04 auto charger, until it showed 100% state of charge (SOC), allowed it to set for a few hours, voltage settled around 3.65V. I set the capacity tester to pull 1amp and set it to cut off at 10V (2.5v/cell). The results showed only .6ahrs out of stated 3ahrs (see 1st photo). Recharged the battery as above, second test load of 1amp and set the cut off to zero (allow the BMS in the battery to shut down the test). After running the test again only .6ahrs and a voltage of 8.43V. ( see 2ed photo. ). Tried to recharge the battery to test a 3rd time, could not get the battery to except a charge. Called NOCO support, was told the BMS cuts off at 8V or 2V/cell, and said it should recharge via of a charger.(BMS may have failed?). Support said they did not recommend doing a capacity test on their batteries! Duh! if I had not done the capacity test I would have installed a faulty battery in my bike.(note it does have a 5 year warranty) I returned the battery to Amazon with a note stating it faulty and should not be resold. I bought another LifeP04 battery off Amazon stating it was 6ahrs (double the capacity)and was $10.00 less than the Noco 3ahr battery. Tested that battery same ways as Noco test came it right at 6ahrs. I can not recommend buying NOCO batteries but if you do better run a capacity test so your not getting ripped off. Oh the battery is way over packaged from company like three boxes, not environmental friendly for sure.

Nice battery Keep in mind of the capacity
PROS, strong battery, super light weight compact size, good battery chemistry choice. Safe. It’s really strong I feel like it definitely has the stated CCA, cold cranking amps. The battery is way smaller and lighter than a comparable lead acid old fashion chemistry with the same CCA. The chemistry is lifepo4 if you don’t know, that is one of the longest lasting battery chemistry in terms of cycle and shelf life. Based on the battery chemistry it should last more than 10 years. Safe no acid.CONS, pricey, low capacity, bms complexity. The disadvantage is the capacity and cost. If you were to buy a comparable lead acid it would cost 1/2 as much and have 2-3 times the capacity. Normally you are fine if you don’t run your vehicle with accessories on only. Bms complexity, what if the bms goes bad and the battery is fine. No way to fix it yourself but in theory it should be fine if the battery is topped off and not neglected or abused by overcurrent for an extend amount of time.Definitely a great battery would recommend, in my opinion it should last definitely 3 times as long as a lead acid battery.
