It doesn't get any easier than this- on inspection, it's well made and very sturdy. I put the SSD into the adapter, it fit perfectly and very snug. I attached it to the inside of my PC, hooked it up and it works perfectly. Note it has several ways you can mount it, either into a hard drive slot or caddy, or as I did, find a place and bolt it to the casing. It seems like it won't have any heating issues, but in my PC, there's a fan blowing across it. This is an easy way at a great price to convert your older hard drives to SSDs and still have them fit properly into your machine.

Unlike other models which just give a limited frame - this unit gives you a solid 3.5” container that should easily mount in any PC or Server 3.5” hard drive bay. The open frame types don’t which is why I recommend this one. Solid contraction with holes placed at the strand are hard drive points. Worked very well.

These bracket adapters are pretty nice! I got the pair (set of 2) because I was planning to use one of them in my old PS2 to help my 2.5" HDD I installed into it to sit better and more secure. And for that console it works great for that!The other one, I wasn't sure would work, but it does well enough and that is using it on my original XBOX that again, I have a 2.5" HDD installed into. I wasn't sure it would fit with the added IDE to SATA adapter but it does just fit. The only problem to be aware of is that the 4-pin power molex will have the wiring facing up taller than the drive assembly when installed, so it could get pinched or crimped in some situations. But that isn't a fault of the bracket assembly. Just know that these are designed to take up the entire space that a normal half height 3.5" drive would have taken up back in the day.
