This is the handle Xacto wishes they’d designed.
OMG—holds blades tight. Does not loosen grip on the blades, even heavy duty ones, and is 100x better than any Xacto handle.I bought two other styles of Excel handles and they, also, hold a variety of blades tightly.

Cutting stuff up
Product arrived early, in full holiday deliveries cranked that’s pretty darn good. This tool works very well. It will get a lot of use.

Don't buy X-Acto, but this!
Well made, feels sturdy.The X-ACTO version of this size handle snapped while in use. The red handle model that takes the heavier duty blades. The company makes garbage.Excel makes good quality stuff!

This thing is amazing, highly recommend. Gives you total control especially in comparison to the standard slim model. Amazing difference.

Great blade handle. Blade stays secure. Aluminum handle is very well built.

Is heavier than a plastic handle but I use it for heavy duty cutting.
I use it for removing lasered parts from their frames...sometimes there is a knot in the plywood that the laser will not cut. I use the knife to gently cut out the part...the handle is heavy duty so you can exert a lot of pressure, Always put the frame on a solid surface and never cut while the frame is in the machine.
