Worked no additional power needed!
I was looking g for a way to move stereo audio over cat6 cable from my jukebox over to the receiver that powers the in ceiling speakers. I started with a cheaper alternative that was just a direct plug RCA to Cat 6 and then back on the other end, it had feedback and just didn’t cut it.I gave these a try not expecting much before I moved to some much more expensive options. To my delight it worked perfect! No additional power needed, audio came through clear with little to no delay from the source. I would highly recommend this if you need to move stereo audio over a long distance.

Works Exceptionally Well
I used this to send a line level signal from a small amp behind my television to a subwoofer at the front of the room. The issue for me was the necessity to run the cable about 5" from an electrical wire, and line level signals are incredibly susceptible to electromagnetic interference--especially when they're going into a powered subwoofer. The balun allowed me to use a shielded cable, run that cable into the wall, down into the ceiling of the basement, then up into the wall where I wanted to place the subwoofer. These baluns worked perfectly without a hitch. I placed one behind the TV, ran the sub signal from the amp via 3.5mm, through the wall using cat6 cable, then from the second balun to the sub using an RCA cable. (See images.) There is no hum or any other evidence of EMI whatsoever. The signal strength is great, and I get the bass response I would expect to get from media of various types. I highly recommend this product over any powered signal converter or other type of line extension. It's not often that I'm able to order a product that claims to fix a problem, and have the product work perfectly out-of-the-box, but that's totally what happened with this. I would buy this again with no hesitation.

Works well! No ground loop noise.
We have this connecting a music source to a PA amplifier about 80 feet away and the audio is clear, with no hum. I would definitely use this again.

Works just as advertised
**UPDATE** After troubleshooting the issue I was having with audio cutting in and out, it turns out the problem was the amplifier settings I was using at the receiving end of the signal. I changed the settings, and the audio has quit cutting in and out. It just works as advertised. Further, I did some signal testing and compared it with a bluetooth audio solution (using Qualcomm CSR8675 chipset with aptX-HD, bluetooth 5.0). In my case scenario, this wired solution was better at maintaining signal fidelity than even the bluetooth 5.0 aptX-HD. It's also cheaper than a transmitting and receiver Qualcomm CSR8675 solution. ***end UPDATE*** This I was hoping this product could help me transmit audio via Cat 5e from PC Line out to an amplifier. It does work, but the sound cuts out from time to time -- about every 10 minutes or so, and it will be silent for a while, then the sound cuts back in. Very annoying and makes the device unusable as an audio device. You can't have the sound cutting in and out. I assume the signal voltage is dropping below some threshold at times on the receiving end. Maybe a powered version would be better for my needs.

Good sound
Bought these to replace an old set (from a different company and about 10 years old) hat developed a buzz. These are ice and clear and produce a good sound. Cable run is approximately 200 ft.

Need strong signal
The transmission of sound was excellent, but one needs a fairly strong signal to make the trip with good fidelity. We inserted a pre-amp to boost our line-in signal and all is good.

This is the Real Deal!
OK, this is a real, isolated balun! I took it apart just to be sure (see photo), and there they are: the isolation transformers. You can also see from the photo that the traces are surrounded by a good ground plane with many vias to help shield the signal. Do not confuse this product with the $10 units that only wire the RCA connectors directly to the CAT twisted pairs. Those cheaper units will not protect your signal!Basically, these isolation transformers "float' your audio signal so that it is no longer referenced to any other potentials. What this means is that your audio signal is not disturbed by stray magnetic fields or differences in the ground potential between your sender and receiver equipment, both of which can be significant over longer distances. It's worth the extra money to avoid that 60Hz hum or other noise in your audio signal. Also, these baluns are passive so you don't need to hook up any connection to a power source.

Excellent piece of equipment.
I was going to run shielded cable until I found this device. I ran cat 6 100 foot from line out of one amplifier to line in to another. No ground loop hum. Very impressed.
