Q: i apply this after getting out of the shower and notice my damp hands cause the cream to clump before applying to my hair. how do i resolve?

I recommend towel drying your hair first. Then rub into your hair. You can then style your hair. Have fun!

Q: The bottom is up pretty far- I just received it today. Is that how it is supposed to be?

I actually took a picture to show you how far up mine was, but it won't let me download it. Mine was approximately an inch up, which is normal because I have used several of these in the past. It lasts a long time, though! I love this product!

Q: is this like the old goldwell product ego boost?

I do not know. But my son loves this. He had thick straight hair and it keeps it in place without feeling like there is product in his hair.
