This is just what I wanted. Came on time and in very good condition, brand new.

I needed this book for my General Chemistry 1 and 2. The helpfulness will most likely depend on how your professor uses it but I found that it was written well (not too dry - didn't make me fall asleep) and had very helpful examples problems. The back of the book question/answer section really prepared me for exams.

Used this textbook for my General Chemistry 1 and 2 courses at University. Great resource, with practice problems and answers to odd-numbered questions in the back!

its a chemistry textbook- its fine :/but i did pay for a new one, and mine had writing in the margins :(((

I am surprised to have called a textbook horrible. I purchased this for my own self-study to brush up on my chemistry skills. The book is written okay, it can be a little challenging to learn anything from certain sections. A major factor that I saw was they would explain x and y, but in the practice problems, they would have you try to solve for g. While it could be possible with an extensive and advanced understanding and other previous experiences, I found it ridiculous that the information was not provided. I purchased a different one (Chemistry: The Central Science) and x, y, and g were all explained.The practice problems/chapter review problems were far too difficult, especially for how lousy everything was explained.

The book arrived early, it's well written, some sections are concise and there are plenty of examples to work on.

Nice book at a good price. Perfect seller, arrived in few days and well protected.
