Thoughtful, well made and honest movie
The Story, screen play, acting and the direction everything worked. The fact that the story is written by Varun Grover tell a lot about the integrity of the story line.Arjun Kapoor's more sublime and understated performance. This movie proves he can act, but not sure if he is ever going back into the film industry as the stereotypical chocolate hero. I can see him coming of his own in non-conventional roles.Parineeti Chopra- again a good choice for the role. The minor roles are well defined and lends to story full of complexities.Releasing movies directly to OTT ( streaming platforms) has made it easier to make more complex and nuanced movies with out catering to the front benchers. I would watch it again after some time.

Arjun kapoor’s acting
Horrible movie. The direction, camera and even the storyline is badly paced. To top it all of is Arjun kapoor’s acting. He has the same expression in the entire movie, there is no emotion on his face. Is this supposed to make him look cool? Because it certainly doesn’t. This movie could have been great, but very badly directed.

Dibakar Banerjee delivers yet again
It makes for gripping viewing with some very good performances and a stellar star cast. It's finally good to see both Parineeti and Arjun live up to their potential. These performers were lost in the chaos and noise that Bollywood can be. Trust Dibakar Banerjee to salvage their careers and draw out their best performances yet. When corruption is rampant from top to bottom, how do you face up to it, survive, and come up trumps? Watch to see how subvert multiple institutions working against you!

Dhekhoge bhi pachtawoge, Nahi-dhekoge bhi pachtawoge, not.
How could this guy be an actor is beyond me. Ohh wait, he is Kapoor.Storyline is good but not the storytelling. Pariniti improves herself with each movie and has done good job, some scenes are Polanski good but overall a missed opportunity.

What an enjoyable movie!
Wow! This movie was quite enjoyable. Parineeti Chopra gave a wonderful, heart wrenching performance. Arjun Kapoor, I am speechless; superb. And boy you can dance. I am a big Hindi movie fan but lately I have been drifting more towards K-drama/movies because the Hindi movies being released were not to my satisfaction. Prior to Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar the last enjoyable movie I saw was Kapoor and Sons. Thanks to Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar I am back on the look out for good/quality movies coming from India. Well, I should say Hindi movies. I have yet to venture out to other regional Indian movies. By the way, great writing and directing and to the entire movie crew (including the great supporting actors), amazing! I am your fan.

MUST WATCH 4 PARNITI
SCREENPLAY, STORY, & ACTING WAS PRICELESS. HOWEVER, WATCHING ARJUN IN IT IS PUNISHMENT. TOOK ME THREE DAYS TO FINISH THIS MOVIE. WATCHED IT FOR PARNITI. LOVED IT. BUT ONE STAR BC TOOK ARUN IN LEAD.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have always been a fan of Dibakar Banerjee and Varun Grover, so it wasn't a surprise that they came up with this amazingly thought provoking movie plot. However, I was really happy to see all the actors (male and female), especially the protagonists delivering such flawless performance. I wish Arjun and Parineeti to get more opportunities to work in such movies that don't just focus on 'entertainment' but also leave audience with things to ponder on.

Realistic characters, important message about materialism, well done.
Three-dimensional, believable main and side-characters, compelling plot, and excellent social commentary done in a subtle manner. For example, there is a scene when the lead's life has utterly broken down to her involvement in high finance, and she is by a river. Two simple, innocent, village girls walk by the river and wave at her with beautiful smiles. This is a very refreshing break from Bollywood's tendency towards two dimensional love stories, soapy dramas, glamorized violence, and insipid comedies.
