Great opener. I love the remote feature on my phone. I can open it from anywhere I have service.

My previous garage door opener became unresponsive to remote controls, which was a huge inconvenience. After having two different technicians tried to troubleshoot it, it still would not work. They gave me an estimate to replace it, and it was nearly $800. So I researched which new garage door opener to purchase, and decided to install it myself. This garage door opener came with tons of equipment to install in a brand new garage, which I didn't need, but I was grateful it was there. Installation was fairly easy using the existing hardware in my garage.What I love about this product is that it is smoother and quieter than my previous garage door opener, and it slows down as it closes, which reduces the force. I also love that it has smart home and Wi-Fi connectivity (myQ), so I can check through my phone whether the garage door is closed, or I can open it for others from far away. I'm definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a garage door opener for residential purposes.

Definitely tedious to install but thats just the nature of garage door openers.Only issue I had with this opener was that the door could not go all the way down with the carrier stop in place so I bent that out of the way to get the desired distance to close.Works excellent and for the price it cannot be beat. Very quiet and seems like it will last.Connection to MyQ was super easy even with low wifi signal out at my detached garage

Great unit. I was replacing a chain drive unit from the 1980's that came with our house, and was pleased that I was able to reuse most of the old hardware. All I needed was to install the new "magic eyes', and cut a few extra bracket extensions from a bar of steel from the hardware store ($10), and we were good to go. Passed all the measured force tests, including the 2x4 test. Kept the extra hardware like the Dad Hoarder that I am. Very please. Would recommend unit for sure to others.

Alot of reviewers noted how whisper quiet this thing is and they were right! I installed the door opener myself using the BILT APP and using the app was fantastic! Here are some tips before you begin for a easier install.1. Using the BILT APP, If you have a tablet, use that instead of your mobile phone for the install. Scan the QR code on the box, install the APP and it will straight away take you to the install instructions for this garage door opener.2. Before you begin, run through the entire installation on the APP. This will give a very good idea of what you will be doing before you begin and also verify that you have all the parts you need.3. Ease of install with BILT App: Good4. Price point: Good5. Quality: Some plastic parts that probably should have been metal. Time will tell.6. MYQ app works well and easy to setup once installed, however no instructions in the box on how to add your garage door opener to MYQ. You will need to go the MYQ app and Add new device to pair your garage door opener to the APP. From there it works like a charm.UPDATE - 4-5-2025- Kncoking off 1 start. Installed second garage door opener today on a TWO DOOR CAR GARAGE. First install was 1 car door no issues. The cable on the sensors is not long enough. Was short about 1 foot. CHAMBERLAIN, add a couple of feet to the wire on the sensors and if needed up the price but SHORT wire. Not acceptable. I had to use the BELL WIRE that comes in the box for the wall switch, that I did not need to use, and spliced it onto the sensor cable. RED WHITE to BLACK WHITE and WHITE to WHITE. No issues. Would have preferred a clean install.I HIGHLY recommend !

Very quiet

I went with the less expensive option for purchasing openers for my new garage doors. I ordered from Amazon, then had the openers installed by the company I bought the doors from.I am very pleased with this product - good value, great quality and perfect fit!

Easy to install. Great directions with Bilt app. 3-4 hours to complete
