Awesome hearing boost
The independently adjustable ambient sound amplification (0 - 20Db) of these buds was like getting a new set of high fidelity ears for me and amazingly, partly restored my sense of sound direction. It's by far the best money I've spent on sound and hearing tech. A year and a half ago I suddenly lost 80 percent of my hearing in my right ear and in the last few months another 35 percent in my left. I've tried out Walker's Raptors and low cost hearing aids. There's no comparison in comfort, sound quality, effectiveness, noise cancellation ability, smart switching between ambient and noise cancelation, and independent adjustment. The battery case features magnetic saddling so that you can direct each bud to it's slot and the magnets draw it automatically the rest of the way onto the charging pins. Awesome. I rarely write a review but I'm so grateful to have these that it's my way of saying thanks to Samsung for making these quality, versatile units available at such a reasonable price.

Fantastic earbuds for Samsung Galaxy/Android smartphones
First off, steer clear if you use an Apple iPhone. The Galaxy Buds app for the iPhone, as far as I know, still doesn't support these, nor the newer Galaxy Buds 2. There are other great options from Apple and Sony you can look into instead. For Android users, these are excellent earbuds that have great sound quality, great noise cancellation that works well but could technically be better, and for Samsung Galaxy owners, has deeper integration with Bixby, although I stick with Google Assistant. Battery life is also solid, where I personally haven't had issues with it even after a few hours of constant use. With that being said, successors are coming very soon (expected to be announced August 2022), so maybe hold off if you're seeing these before the Buds 2 Pro get announced. If you can find them on a good deal, like $120 or less, I'd go for it if the differences with the 2nd model aren't significant.

These are great
- I ordered these a few months ago.- The discount earbuds I had sounded fine but I couldn't hear coworkers, which limited their usefulness.- These have a passthrough mode that adds nearby sounds to the audio output, which means I don't get snuck up on and nobody complains that I can't hear them.- They sound good, though the bass is a little thin even with both equalizers set for maximum bass.- I use these at least half of my shift every day and they are comfortable.- I have a Samsung phone and they work with it like they should.- The only gripes I have are about the touch functionality.- - One tap on either one is play/pause, two on either is next, and touch and hold is volume up on the right one and down on the left one.- - This means it is not possible to restart a song or reverse to the previous one without interacting directly with my phone, which is a baffling oversight.- - It is also difficult to adjust/reseat them in my ear without accidentally triggering the play/pause command, though I am gradually learning how to not cause those false inputs.- In short, they are comfortable, sound good, and aside from a few missing refinements, they're worth the price I paid, which was $150.Note to anybody who uses earbuds - I clean them and the case about once a day with Lysol wipes and I strongly recommend everybody do the same for obvious reasons.Love,Katie

Mid ANC. Good sound quality, pretty good battery life.
I bought these to replace my google buds a series and buds plus. These aren't are comfortable as the A series but more comfortable than the pluses. I was hoping for good ANC, i have not used ANC from another product for more than a few minutes. These are okay for ANC the block out the lows really well, but the highs sound like they come from a microphone. For 50 Dollars they are pretty great but for just ANC its not as good. I don't often use my earbuds, but i did notice i have to charge the case more often than the others I have, though I don't turn off ANC.

inconsistent performance
I bought this to have a wireless option for listening to audio books/stations/podcasts on my mobile phone while working out. I love the charging case ---- it's a great option to recharge the buds without having to use a charging cable every time. And the noise-cancellation feature seems to work -- there is certainly less external noise when I'm wearing them; I'm just not sure if the noise reduction is due to technical competency of the product or the fact that there is something in my ear canal blocking direct delivery of outside noise. But my overall experience with these buds has been less-than-exciting. I have had these for about 6 months now figuring perhaps I'm experiencing 'operator error' since I've never had wireless buds before. But my experience isn't what I thought it would have been. I have tried all 3 earpiece sizes and although the smallest size seems to fit (my ear) best, they don't 'cling' to the interior of my ear as I would hope. I am only using an elliptical machine (ie. I'm not jogging and jarring these things) and I have to keep adjusting them to keep them in my ear (I certainly wouldn't recommend these for joggers/runners). Further, the volume control is inconsistent: touching the left ear is supposed to increase volume, the right is reduction; and most times this works. However I have had at least 4 different times when the volume just keeps increasing even though I haven't touched the bud; and touching the right bud DOESN'T stop the increase --- it just keeps getting louder until maximum volume is reached. I have to turn off what I'm listening to and start again just to get back to a reasonable volume. Lastly, for unknown reasons the buds will turn off (even though battery is still full) or rewind my audio content for a few seconds even though I haven't touched them.I love the idea of wireless buds and thought this would be a good product to start with; but I'm disappointed with the performance inconsistency.
