Elegant and well made tea kettle. I love the beautiful wooden handle. It stays cool. The whistle is perfect.

I have been through many tea kettles over the years. This is constructed well, and its classic look blends beautifully on our black Elmira kitchen stove. There is an inconsistency with the whistle. However, they do tell you who to contact if it does not work properly.

Looks so good on our gas stovetop. Works well and has a heavy bottom. It’s not flimsy that’s for sure!

I like this tea kettle. It looks good sitting on my stovetop, and it works well. I could nitpick a couple things, but overall I like it. The buttons for opening and closing the spout work well, and I do not have very strong hands (I'm old), but I can use them. The handle gets warm, but not too hot. I wish the spout could be pointed a little lower. If I want to get every last drop of water out of it, I have to turn it upside down, but it is easy to pour the boiling water into my coffee mug.

Received this morning, 2/12/24, and immediately tried it out. Looks beautiful and the heat resistant composite "wood" handle does not disappoint. At first I thought the lid had a defect because it was a little stiff to put on but that's the design, so that while pouring it doesn't pop off. I gave the kettle a quick rinse and then filled it with cold tap water. From the time I placed the cold kettle on the flat top stove to it whistling, it took 13 minutes. The ring I placed it on was just slightly smaller than the base of the kettle. So far, love the kettle overall.

Looks and works great. Worth every penny.

Started to leak out of 2 different sections (the bottom & near the handle) within the first 3 months of use
