Admittedly I'm a novice with regard to this topic but I've had one of their earlier Seagate drives and figured out how to use that regularly. Now I can't figure out the difference between back up and sync and what I should have for my Windows 11 brand new HP OmniStudio X AIO Desktop.

Very disappointed. I used Seagate Backup Plus Slim before to backup data from PC and accessed the data when I only had an iPad. It worked great.I purchased this device (Seagate One Touch with Password) because it claims its special security features which sounds great for travelling. It turned out to be awful. Note it claimed this device works on both Windows and iOS. It turns out that iPad can't show the files on the drive because of "security feature". Their website suggests that for iPad, one needs to disable the security feature on PC first, then plug into the iPad. THIS TOTALLY DEFEATS the SECURITY FUNCTION. Even worse, when I followed its advice, it still can't show any files. This time it even can't show the device attached to the iPad.Also, on the Windows side, 9 out of 10 times there are problems with EJECT. I checked Task Manager, Resource Manager, Background Process.. Hell, nothing is using this device. Zero activity. If I invoke the Toolkit to lock/unlock it, then it can be safely ejected. It just shows the Toolkit app is doing something weird. Many times I had to reboot my PC in the middle of my work. Frustrating ! DON'T BUY unless you want to waste your time and money together !

Item arrived on time. I had so much to remove from my phone and pc and I can honestly say that it was really easy to set up and it’s exactly what I was looking for.
