Yes you can, it is very fitted and designed to be worn under helmets.

Q: does this cap have the cooling feature?

No it doesn't but I live in Caribbean and sometimes I forget it's on my head. It's a great fabric that doesn't make you sweat.

Q: Can you pull it down enough to cover ears for wear under baseball cap and stay in place?

Yes depending on the size of your head it might not cover ears entirely but I can pull it down and it covers mine totally. It’s been great I have a bald head and need something to keep the sweat out of my eyes and keep my head warm when it’s chilly. Washes easy hasn’t faded and still looks like the brand new one I haven’t worn yet
