Own the mountain with the VPD 2.0 Knee, a multi-purpose knee protector that helps absorb impact and doesn’t restrict movement. It’s ideal for downhill riders who demand the highest level of protection. The reinforced stretch fabric makes it comfortable to wear all day while the elastic strap keeps the pad in place. VPD warms and adapts to the shape of the body when you’re riding, then hardens and absorbs impact if you fall. With the VPD 2.0 Knee, you can ride easy knowing we’ve got you covered.

Durable and comfy
I'm fairly new to the mountain bike world. So, after viewing a lot of knee protection and reading hundreds of reviews, this was my pick. Against my better judgment, I followed the sizing chart. They got here faster than they were supposed to, and my first impression when I took them out of the box is that they were gonna be bulky. I put them on and went for a ride. They fit perfectly and after a minute or so, I didn't even know I had them on. They're very comfortable and seem like they'll be great protection!!

SIzing chart on the POC website is wrong, here ae the correct ones
Pads are awesome once you find your size. I'm 6'0" and 165 pounds. The sizing chart on the POC website told me I needed a small size kneepad and large size elbow pad. Once the pads arrived I could not even get the small knee pad on and the large elbow pads were too big. I noticed that each pad had a DIFFERENT SIZING CHART attached to the tag than was provided by the POC website. I assume I am a medium in each pad but will have to wait until that size is back in stock to confirm. I will attach pictures of the sizing charts here - I assume the PRODUCT TAGS ARE CORRECT. The picture of the website is just for comparison. This is a great product and it's ridiculous the sizing chart is so hard to find.

Excellend When Fitted Correctly
It is difficult to predict the size (thank God for Amazon's return policies) but once you figure it out, the fit and feel are excellent. No bunching, binding or chaffing, stay in place and flex with your body. I haven't crashed but I can tell these work. I hit my knee hard with a hefty stick and didn't even feel it. Sure they're expensive but what is your irreplaceable body worth to you? If you got into an accident, these would be worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Right? Left?
Seems great, but I thought it would be 2 knee pads. The one I got says "Right" on the inside, but I don't know how to know order the left one. No option when specting or at check-out.

Excelente calidad y sensación de protección
The media could not be loaded.

Wore these for the first time today.
I just got back from riding 5 miles of intermediate single track. When I put these on I thought they were going to be uncomfortable for the entire ride. Half way through the ride (30 min.) I forgot I even had them on. These knee guards are really great, the material is some type of high tech foam that compresses at a very slow rate. So, when you first put them on they feel awkward. But, as they mold to your knee they become very natural feeling. We ended up going to a bar afterwards and I honestly forgot I was still wearing them. Great product, if you are considering buying knee guards just get these because they're totally worth it. You don't want to ride and feel like you might have more fun if you didn't have knee guards on. I still can't believe I forgot I was wearing these when we were done…ooops. The best thing to do is follow the fitting chart and measure yourself so you get the right size for you. I was in between sizes and went with the smaller size….one of my better decisions. If you are undecided because of the high tech foam comment, try punching one of these. Yeah, after I did that and quickly realized they are the real deal!

Very protective, stay in place well
I upgraded from my Air VPD knee pads after a crash. Previously I had good experiences with the Air VPD pads and I still wear them for some riding, but in a major crash I still ended up with a huge bruise on one knee that took weeks to go away. The Joint VPD pads are thicker and firmer material and definitely more protective. They are a bit stiffer and less comfortable to wear, so there is a trade off. I choose which pads to use based on where I will be riding. I found these more comfortable and at least as protective as other brands I tried (Fox, Leatt). Would buy again.

The last set of knee pads you will buy.
When I first put these on… They fit rather snuggly. I thought they were going to be really uncomfortable when I rode my bike, or pinch my legs in weird places. After the first 10 minutes of writing… They immediately stretched out to fit my leg perfectly. They didn’t prevent circulation, and actually breathe very well. They provide a lot more protection than I realized with the thick layer of foam. I have another pair of kneepads that are much thinner and lighter that are probably better for cross country stuff. But these are perfect if you are learning how to jump, or hitting trails with much more unforgiving features.Perfect for a new rider learning or an advanced rider who wants protection. From the build quality, I can expect to have these for a very long time.
