Absolutely Amazing
This helped greatly with a bad acoustic room. Now my monitoring is much more flat, and it works both on my speakers (and sub) and headphones (there's a database of measured headphones). I can't recommend the Reference highly enough. It really improves your mixing substantially. I think even that this will make lesser monitors sound more, because it really does compensate and make your sound flat. This results in ultra clear, easy on the ears sound.I seriously can’t imagine mixing without this. Unless you can afford an acoustician and a properly treated, properly designed room, and high end monitors, you need this to be a serious mixer.

Crashes on Windows. Buggy BUggy, not ready for release.
This is brutal. Every user I know that uses Windows cannot get this to work with any consistency. Crashes the DAW, crashes on startup, shuts down Wavelab, Cubase or Nuendo. Please correct this 'update' is a downgrade and they are charging more the upgrade than ever before. Please Sonarworks, correct this.

it works… Who would've thought that speaker software could work… Very happy
The most negative part would be that you go through 41 tests of the area that you want to correct. But the more you do it the more ideas you have to make it simpler.… And once I heard how effective this was, it made me jump back into correct in my actual room problems that were caused from the physical construction… And I'm making progress on that also with the room analysis from 40 Hz up to 13 or 14,000 K… They are very good at answering your questions, and you will have questions…... So what I'm saying is it's worth the time and effort to understand how it works and why it works… If you do that you will be well satisfied…

Very nice app and plugin but the installer is broken on Windows.
* This is sold BYOC - Bring Your Own Cord. You will need either an XLR to whatever your interface is or an XLR to USB adapter if you do not have a decent input to use their microphone. It will work with other calibrated microphones, some of which are USB based, if you can find the software only version and want to get or have your own mic.- Everyone I have heard rave about this program seems to use a Mac. I can see now why reviews by windows users are not good. I got it to run downloading an older version. Did endless measurements. But it refused to then apply the profile. It said there was a newer version so I ran update. Now it refuses to even load. Going through their many support pages I tried some suggestions, including changing permissions on certain directories it uses and deleting the previous config file, which seemed to work and got me going. It works as a stand alone program with audio players like Foobar where you can choose your output destination. It has also worked as a plugin.Doing the speaker and room plot takes F o r e v e r it feels like as you play Pictionary trying to move the mic all over the place based on its desires (32 times).Using it briefly for the headphone correction with some Sony MDRV6 headphones, it cleaned them up and removed the harshness and really improved the sound. So far it seems like a worthwhile investment.

Night and day
I thought this would provide maybe a minor boost to my studio speakers eq (Adam a8x, well treated room) but the difference was actually enormous. Not only can I set it to "flat" and get a totally consistent sweep, but there are other profiles I can use for streaming, music, or gaming. Runs in the background all the time and you always have access to an enable/disable toggle to compare. Improves image and soundstage, removes room coloration from the sound, tightens up bass performance. Couldn't be happier.

Works as advertised
Works well. The room correction software is incredibly useful if you have to mix or related audio listening in a less-than-perfect room. Doesn't replace a properly acoustically treated room, but it's a huge improvement for any space.
