Best whole milk powder
Highly recommended! This makes full fat milk. The powder dissolves quickly and completely in cold water. I use a small whisk in my cup. I use it daily to make my overnight oats. I am now on my second can. When I travel on road trips, I have milk without needing a cooler.I did also get some nonfat, and mixed the two powders for low fat milk.

Finally! A work and travel milk solution for tea-lovers!
Tea lovers, you know my pain. In a world of coffee drinkers, in the course of work or travel we so often find ourselves cast adrift on a heartless sea of half-and-half or (shudder) non-dairy creamer. Bringing milk with you is rarely practical; the need for refrigeration means it's hard to travel with, and we've all known the soul-wrenching anguish of preparing that desperately needed afternoon cuppa at work only to find our milk stash has gone off. Shelf-stable milk and regular dried milk... well, the less said about that the better. But fear not! Peak is here to save the day!I will say that I've never tried Peak just on its own, so I couldn't tell you how it tastes mixed up and drunk straight. But as an addition to tea, I honestly cannot taste the difference between it and regular milk. If you're on the fence about trying it, I definitely would. It has completely solved my tea-lover's milk dilemma for travel and work; I can tuck a container of it in my suitcase without worrying about refrigeration, whilst a can of Peak in the work fridge will last me reliably for months. Being in a natural-disaster-prone area of the world, a can of this lives in my emergency supplies. I can even make little single-serve milk packets in small plastic bags to keep in my purse - no more suffering through stingy restaurant cream portions! Now, because it is full-fat, it's not as shelf-stable as regular fat-free milk powder. When it goes off, you can definitely tell; instead of being finely powdered and off-white with only the faintest sweetish smell, it goes yellowish and a bit coarser grained, and tastes and smells like rancid butter. I think some of the negative reviews on here were from people who had gotten a can that had somehow gone off, so if yours tastes rancid when you try it, that's not normal and you should get a refund. That said, I've been buying this for years now, and despite the fact that their standard shipping method seems to involve giving each can a few swift kicks before running them over with a car (seriously, don't expect your cans to be dent-free) I've never had one where the contents were compromised. Unopened, I've kept it for 6 months on the shelf no problem (the shelf life is 2 years, I think, but mine has never made it that long). Opened, as long as I keep it refrigerated it lasts for months more. Unrefrigerated, at room temperature, you're looking at about 7 to 10 days before it goes off - not good for long-term storage, but plenty for taking it with me when I travel. The few times I have left it in a summer-hot car for an hour or so it has gone off immediately, but then, so would I. Store it thoughtfully and you should have no problems. There is however, one drawback to trying this milk powder; you find yourself turning into a sort of milk missionary, spreading the good word of Peak wherever you go!

Good - yes, expensive - yes, for me - great!
I bought this based on others' reviews, and I have to say I am very pleased. My situation: I love milk, but don't need to drink it because I can never have just one glass, and my digestion is sensitive to milk. I'd be better off not buying milk at all but the problem is I love milk (or cream) in my coffee. I've got to have my coffee every day (with milk/cream) but I just don't care for non-dairy creamer. The problem: I can buy whole milk or half-n-half at the store for a great price, but I always end up drinking a lot of it, even the half-n-half. I just can't stay out of it. I've struggled with weight my entire life and although I can't blame milk for that, it does play a part. The solution: Powdered milk. I have no desire to drink powdered milk, even this stuff which, judging by the reviews, tastes great (it does taste great in my coffee.) Is it somewhat expensive? Yes it is, relatively. I bought the 900 gram can of Peak powdered milk about two months ago and still have a few weeks' worth left to go through (I would have even more if I hadn't used it to make hot cocoa a few times, which also tasted great.) I make a cup of it at a time and keep it in a hermetically sealing glass carafe in the fridge and it's been working out wonderfully.I'm going to get almost three months' use out of it, so that's around 6 dollars a month. Previously, I would buy half-gallons of whole milk at the store for around two bucks per, but I would end up drinking a lot of it and would go through a half-gallon a week so it works out about the same (or better) except I'm drinking a lot less milk. My digestion is a lot better and I've been losing weight (once again, not solely because of decreased milk consumption, but it sure helps.)I can't recommend it enough, but depending on your situation, your mileage may vary.
