These are literal game-changers if like me, you experience destroyed toenails during pickleball play. The only downside is they sometimes cause blisters on my feet because my feet stick to them so well! I have very sweaty feet when playing sports, so I added more foot powder to the mix and any blistering is minimal now.Highly recommend these socks!!!

Apologize for the short story here, but I hope you find it helpful.I play competitive hockey and Previously used the Bauer speed plates in my last skates. I recently bought a brand new pair of Skates that required me to use a custom insole that no longer had the rubber grip on top of the insoles like the Bauer speed plates did. Instead, they had the typical slippery fabric. I honestly tried everything to replicate what I had with the speed plates, but nothing really worked. I ended up looking up these socks and thought to myself, maybe they could help keep my foot locked in my skate and I had before.I ordered these socks with medium expectations.I can honestly say after wearing them for over two months now, that they are flawless. Offer a grip inside and outside the sock on the bottom, without feeling bulky anywhere. They are also High ankle socks, which I’m not going to lie was a concern of mine because most socks I purchased end up slipping and punching up, causing blisters, etc. these socks have not slipped even remotely down my ankle.I can’t speak to other sports and the use of these socks, but I can tell you that for any hockey player who is trying to keep a really good grip inside their hockey skate, Then these are the socks for you.Also, I have to speak to how comfortable they are. You can wear these around the house, with sandals, shoes, or hockey skates for that matter. They offer a lot of support, but not too bulky like I mentioned.Honestly, my only complaint is more of a suggestion. I really enjoy wearing tall socks, and if this company happens to create them, I will probably be the first to buy them.

I will get to the point right away. They are pretty hard to put on and take off. If you play tennis 5 to 6 days a week you will probably hate them. My foot size fits right in the middle of the range of size M but I feel almost too tight. Once you complete wearing them, it doesn't feel small and they do what they are supposed to do. Also, putting your feet into your shoes is challenging too, thanks to the non-slipping surface, unless you don't mind untying your shoelace every single time you wear them. I still like the product but I will probably wear my other socks every day and wear these for a tournament or something.

I waited to write a review until my daughters had a chance to break them in a few times. Well out of the box they said the pads were very similar to the other $50 brand. We have purchased numerous over the years trying to find a more cost effective solution but it always came down to the feel of the socks was not the same. The lockdown is really good. The socks are used for soccer in wet/dry/humid conditions. The socks continue to do the job. Slowly, as the $50 socks have began to wear our in heels and rip open I am replacing them with these. I do wish they came in black or other colors to coordinate with uniforms. For now we are really pleased with the feel and quality. We do not machine dry them.
