Does exactly what I need it for.

When I placed the order for this product, I made a mistake. I ordered the kit with citric acid rather than the one with hydrochloric acid. I thought sending it back would be no problem, but I was told I could not do that. So, I contacted Family Health Products (the actual shipper) to find out why. They responded to my email within an hour and offered to send me a free bottle of hydrochloric acid. To complicate matters, a couple of hours before that I had already ordered a whole new kit with the hydrochloric acid in it from Amazon. I thought, since the order had just been placed, I could simply cancel it, but efficient as the company is, the new order had already shipped. In a second message to Family Health Products, I explained what had just happened. They responded immediately, stoppped the order even though it was already moving, and issued a refund. They did this an hour before they closed on a Friday afternoon. Incredible service!

They provide "NO" instructions or answer their e mail.I'm using this kit for my chickens and noticed that after a couple days green algae appeared in their purpose watering container for chickens NOT in the sun.....If this product purifies water and it was double filtered first ....what is the algae feeding on.If you don't know how to mix THIS product I sincerely suggest that you find a company that supplies instructions with their product.
