What a great way to test the box of USB charger cables
What a great way to test the box of USB charger cables. Surprisingly some of the thickest, shortest cables have the worst performance. With this device you will immediately know how much current a given cable can support (hook it up to a device with a dead battery and compare the current to various cables). I ended up tossing about half of my cables - that could only charge at 0.5 amps. The good ones will do 1.75 and up.If you've ever wondered why sometimes your phone takes forever to charge, and other times it's quick, it's the cable (or charger). With this tester, you'll know.

Makes checking USB outputs so simple!
This little device is a delight to use! It ensures my GoPro is charging when attached to a wall charger. Not only that, I can quickly and easily monitor the output (voltage and current draw) when I have a USB power converter in my truck or on my motorcycle. I was so impressed with this meter I bought an additional one to share as a "stocking stuffer".

and Anker replaced the faulty unit with a better and newer model
I was using a five port charger and couldn't figure out why every once in a while one of my devices would run down early in the day after all-night charging. This little wonder helped me make the diagnosis, and Anker replaced the faulty unit with a better and newer model!

Was skeptical buying this since it is obviously a generic ...
Was skeptical buying this since it is obviously a generic product being sold under several brands/names, but figured for 12 bucks and amazon protection, what the heck. So far out-of-the-box it is working well after a couple of weeks. We will see.......Oh, I took away 1 star because I just do not feel confident in the generic-ness of the product!

well made an accurate i bought it for a usb solar panel to see how well it charges my phone never dies an i never waiste 110v to charge anymore
