Q: I glued plastic to metal and I can't get rid of the awful smell. It has been 4 days and it still has that awful chemical smell to it. Why is that?

You didn't say how large an area you glued. Here's my guess. Let's say someone glued two Altoid tins together, bottom to bottom. The glue was applied to the entire surface. The solvent in the glue in the very center has quite a distance to migrate, so the solvent may continue to evaporate for a long while. If this is what is happening, it's a good thing. When using some glues, the outer portion of the glue will harden while the glue in the interior is still wet; in fact, the glue in the center will never harden.

Q: Is this a glue that is as permanent and instant as a super glue? I have shaky hands and sometimes excess glue needs to get wiped up

The bond is not immediate like super glue. This is a very strong glue that takes a while to set up, so parts must be held together (I usually use tape). But, it is excellent glue and I use it for quite a few projects.
