I can’t say enough about these. These are great gate hinges! This is the third gate I’ve had. The first two were built by fence contractors, and were traditionally made. After a few years they bowed, and wood split where they were mounted with traditional fence hinges making them sag with no way of fixing easily. I made this one. It’s 14 feet wide(7ft ea side) with aluminum poles 2x6 and 8’s with paneling. I looked a lot trying to find adjustable hinges that could handle the weight, look good and they can get really expensive. They are almost 2 years old now, and still look and function great. I’ve had to adjust them a once. It takes a little thinking but easy to do with two adjustable wrenches or two three-quarter inches. You can adjust the spring pressure)comes with a special tool) to help with returning to close if desired. I did have to get new hardware because of the size and weight of gate. Im confident they’ll hold up and look good for a long time and these hinges will help do that. In time if they become uneven, i’ll just adjust them again. Even got my son-in-law to buy two pairs for his gates we just built.

Appears well made..we had to spend more money for screws that dont pull out of cedar so easily

We needed a self-closing hinge as is code for a gate where there's a pool. These were easy to install, and worked on a 5 foot gate, six foot tall, with 1 inch galvanized square tubing and cedar pickets, so it was a 50 pound gate. The hinges handled the weight well, hinges are easily adjusted and easy to install. We bought more sets for future projects as we build a few gates each month.

Strong close great adjustment and plates thick enought if you want to weld

The hinges look great, are fairly easy to install but fail to deliver on their most important feature of closing the gate....

Very sturdy product. I like that there is a wide adjustment range on the hinges. This was very helpful as the hinge needfed to be adjusted after 2 weeks of weight on the hinge. Definately a 5 star product.
