Just right
Smallish (as described and pictured), well-made and fairly sharp. Good delivery time. Pleased customer.

Neat, neat little knife.
Great little knife. Mostly pros...a few cons.A good, inexpensive knife/sheath package ($20 incl tax). The double-edge, full-tang blade seems sturdy. It could’ve been sharper from the factory, but I can put a shave-worthy edge on it. The rubber handle completely encloses the metal and allows a good grip. I bought this knife to hang on a backpack shoulder strap. I'm thinking...additional things now.The well-thought out, hard nylon-fiberglass “no strap” sheath is a surprising contraption. The knife blade fits snugly inside the sheath with little or no rattle. I actually returned a competing brand knife because it was so noisy bouncing around in the plastic liner. The knife self-locks in the sheath as a result of the left and right outer points of the knife’s rubber guard snapping into little pockets inside the sheath (see photo). Slide the blade into the internal slot. When you meet pressure...push and the knife snaps into place. I have no fear of it slipping out because of its firm grasp on the rubber hand guard. Also, while the inclination will be to “pull” the knife out of the sheath in the normal fashion, the best way to release the knife is to simply grab the handle, place a thumb on the top of the sheath and push. The knife pops right out. Depending on your mounting method, pulling the knife could pull the sheath along with the knife. The sheath hold is that good. The slide-on belt clip is exceedingly sturdy and set up for a 1.5” belt. When on the belt, the sheath sits high and snug...sort of like a pancake pistol holster. One trick that I discovered...you can remove the belt clip if you work it the right way. It’ll slide right out of the little pocket on the back of the sheath (see photo). If wearing the sheath/knife on the provided neck chain, removing the clip gives a lower print through a shirt. The cons? The double edge grinding was uneven. There’s an eighth inch length difference from one side of the blade, to the other. The sharp edge grinding could also have been carried further down the blade shaft...before even getting into the ricasso (the unsharpened area just above the handle guard. That being said, I’ll have my knife sharpening rig out shortly to extend the beveled edge...and to put a scalpel-like sharpness to it.All in all, I’m tickled with this knife. I’m even buying the black-bladed, single-edge version of this model...and will be putting a second edge to it! At $20...you can hardly go wrong.

very surprised / very impressed
I wasn't sure if I should get this after reading the reviews about the poor quality sheath and the blade being a false double edge ect. I'm not sure what was wrong with the other customers items but I just opened mine and I think that I'm going to love it! The sheath seems of good quality, even though the clip is plastic (as stated in previous reviews so we'll see how that goes but I do have high expectations for it.)The blade on the knife I received IS TWO SIDED AND EXTREMELY SHARP, I might add. For the price (I'm going out on one here but..) I'm going to say a very nice knife for the price. I will update in a few weeks after I have ran it through some everyday uses as I plan to replace my daily folder with this.***ALSO 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5 BECAUSE THE SHEATH (as stated in another review) IS ALMOST TOO GOOD AS FAR AS HOLDING THE KNIFE, IT MIGHT SERVE AS A PROBLEM FOR GRABBING WITH ONE HAND*** will also update.***SHEATH UPDATE***Sheath just takes a bit to get used to. Have to push thumb down onto sheath at the same time as you pull knife out. Ended up working very well. But still not adding the fifth star because of what follows in the over all update.***BLADE UPDATE***11.18.12 - Blade has held a very nice edge with rigorous use ranging from everyday tasks to throwing practice.***OVER ALL UPDATE***11.18.12 - One thing I have noticed in the way the sheath hold the knife (clips in place with the rubberized handle) after obvious repeated sheathing and un-sheathing to use the knife, it has seemed to wear down the sides of the handle and it doesn't hold the knife as firm as it did when originally unboxed. However I still don't think it will be falling out of the sheath any time soon, but it is still a noted design flaw in my book. Still well worth the money. If the sheath ends up not holding the knife I believe I will just buy a replacement sheath and continue to carry this knife for years to come.Hope my review helps. I do a lot of my purchasing based off of people like us who type the in depth reviews that I think need to be done to inform!

Nice little knife
The media could not be loaded. I was surprised that both edges of the blade were sharpened, the description said it had a false edge. The quality of the knife was good, the sheath was not the best. Overall I think it was a very good value for the price. I may make a leather sheath.

close but no cigar
first off the knife seems to be fairly stout and I think it will hold up for a long time. It came with a decent edge on it albeit ONLY ONE was sharp the other side was shaped but not sharp as indicated in the description. If I had known that I would have bought the black one which was $5 cheaper and has a black blade both of witch I like. Overall a good knife though. The sheath is a different story, It holds the knife VERY securely which when you're trekking through the woods is quite good as I don't feel you would easily loose the knife without the sheath, however when you want to get it out it changes your outlook a little. The sheath also only has a small plastic clip by which to attach the knife to something. It seems really flimsy and doesn't hold the sheath in place very well at all and you actually have to hold the sheath with one hand while drawing the knife with the other which I find very inconvenient. All in all I like the knife alright and it will do well in my outdoor gear as a good fixed blade knife that stays in the bag when I'm not using it. Otherwise I would recommend either the "Gerber Guardian Back Up" or the "Columbia River and Tool 2020 AG Russell Sting Razor Sharp Edge Knife" for a better knife sheath combination depending on your preferred carrying method. They are both a little more expensive but as I own both I feel they are definitely worth the extra cost.
