Mine didn't come with instructions. I used Pinterest and Google to help me learn what the tools were used for.

Q: I can’t get the electric slotted tool open to put batteries in. Any advice or how to would be great! How do you get it open?

The top white part, twist it then pull the round tool off and it opens easily.

Q: Does this kit come with different sized slotted quilling tools? In the pictures it looks like they are included, but not listed in the description.

Yes, it comes with 6 that are the same size. The there are 5 different sized slotted quilling tools and battery run one. I hope this helps.
