My old standard caulking gun has always killed my hand after even a short time, so I did some research on electric guns and other fancy options. I ended up reading the reviews of this thing and couldn't quite understand how this gun, having a similar mechanism to every other gun, could generate so much praise. But wow, it was a revelation. So well made (like the best tools, it'll be passed to subsequent generations in your family) and so easy to use. The grip is very comfy, but the main thing is the ease of the squeeze (I should copyright that). Even very thick viscous caulks are easy to apply. The only con is that being made to last it's slightly heavier than most, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

I have purchased 11 caulking guns over the past 20 years from the big box stores. they all have done the job . I wanted something better than what was offered at the big box retail. I read / watched several reviews on caulking guns and purchased this unit as it was mentioned often. I have used the gun multiple times and this is best caulk gun I have ever used. with the quality of construction this will likely be the last on I will need to purchase.pros- little force required for caulking- minimal caulk dribble- durableCon- a little heaver then the box store units .... this is a con that I am willing to live with considering the ease of use

As described, very high leverage indeed. All the qualities you would hope for in a professional caulk gun.Most notable quality:The tip of the gun, which gets all the pressure from the tube, is not only sturdier than I am used to but it also does not have any lip to hold the tube in place (because the plastic holders in the middle do that job) so it is much easier to insert and remove tubes. The sturdiness of the tip also prevents uneven pressure that cause non-plastic tubes to split apart.

Professional grade. My first one lasted 9 years with daily abuse as a journeyman glazier. The second one is exactly the same high quality as the first one, which is refreshing these days. High ratio is great for applying sealants at very cold temperatures.Highly recommended. Cox is for professionals.

I bought this with the impression that it was a high quality gun. It came assembled incorrectly so that the caulk tubes could not be loaded into the gun. I had to actually remove the plastic braces and put them on the right way which cause fatigue in the plastic. There are no special features at all. No tube cutter, no pin to puncture the tub seal, no drip-less features. It drips a lot when using it. I have seen many lower priced, and simple designed caulk guns that are better built and have more features. I feel that I wasted my money on this one, all in the name of not buying "made in china".

This gun was a life saver. The two guns I had at home failed to squeeze OSI Quad Max sealant that I used for vinyl window replacement. Cox gun squeezed the sealant out very smoothly and easily. Excellent quality - Made in England. It's expensive, but worth it.

As someone who works in construction and does a lot of caulking everyday this gun had to many problems. Cox is normally the best in the industry but the qc in the product fails. Out of the box it worked great, it seemed very quality and worked well. At the end of the first week, it quit working. Made a simple return thought it was fluke thing. The replacement worked well but now after a month of use, I noticed the 2 of the 3 nuts on the back of gun had loosened and fallen off. The gun is now useless. I'd expect better from this company and I expect a professional grade tool to hold up. I'm pretty disappointed, my old abc green machine held up for 2 years. This should not happen with this quality of tool.

Incredible product, super easy to use and worth every penny over the $7 home depot model, my hands no longer hurt after using it with thick caulking. However, I wish it had a caulking tube cutter and puncture needle.
