No - it’s still a problem. It’s a shame because it’s a lot of fun.

2016, I just brought it this week from Target for $20!

What year was this game published?

latest publish date on box is 2016. There is no game board, just a 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 pad of paper to write down everyone's scores.

Is this version more like the original? The Outburst Remix was terrible and didn't follow the original version.

I'm not familiar with Outburst Remix but this version is similar to older versions I've played. Each card has a prompt "Cartoon Animals" for example. This is visible without the card being inserted into the holder. You read the prompt aloud and a team decides if they want to play or skip. If they play, they try to guess the 10 answers on the card, "Mickey Mouse", "Donald Duck", etc. You roll a 10-sided die and that # answer is worth bonus points. Teams take turns until one hits 60 points and the game is over. There is no board for keeping score, there are paper score sheets included and a sand timer.
