Laptop was hacked and the drive was fried. I lost everything. The local chain didn't have the drive that I needed but they looked it up on Amazon and found this. It's been in for 2 weeks and works just fine. It was far less expensive than turning to the computer company (they told me to buy a new laptop even though I have a full warranty). My laptop is 2 yrs. old and I wasn't buying a new laptop!!!It arrived in a couple of days and I was so pleased - I have my laptop back and trying to rebuild my info.A heads up - try and deal with MSN who should have recovered my info and all you get is robots. It's a monopoly and they have you caught between a rock and a hard place. Next time, I won't be buying anything associated with MSN!

Good for an OS drive
Plenty of room for an OS drive, inexpensive.Not the fastest SSD, but it measure 1700 MB/s read, and 1000 MB/s write.

Doesn't work with Pi5
I've tried to use this with my Raspberry pi 5. Think I have tried every guide out there and made all suggested bootloader config changes. Tried flashing multiple times. I am using a known good nvme HAT and 5A power supply. The drive occasionally shows up once already booted to SD card but is very random, and always fails boot from nvme.

Works fantastically
For my project this works phenomenally well. One of the fastest with Rpi5

Not compatible with Raspberry Pi 5 . . . Won't warm reboot. . .
Installed two of these drives on Raspberry Pi 5s using the Geekworm 1001 NVME "hat". Once you edit the correct files on the Rpi OS, the SD card copied just fine over to this NVME drive. However, there is a bug with the WD Nvmes that use the Phison controller where the Rpi OS will only boot from a cold start. You need to cycle power to the Rpi-5 to get another boot. Even using the power button won't work. "They" say this can be fixed with a firmware update, but for now I'd recommend avoiding all WD NVME drives for Rpi-5s and research which ones work. Will update to 5-stars once this issue is fixed.
