Car Camera Dash Cam Front and Rear Mirror Recorder DVR with WiFi Rear View Camera 720p 4.3'' Mirror Dashboard Driving Recorder with G-Sensor, Night Vision & Parking

This is a very simple to set up (and once you have the right micro sd card) and easy to use dash cam. It has quite a few issues for my liking but it gets the job done for the most part.Problems I have:-doesn't record video at night unless there is a sudden increase in the g's sensed by the camera. I'm not sure why this is. I have it set to 3min loop and it only does that when its bright enough out for the camera to detect motion.-it took multiple attempts to get the sd card formatted and working. It would constantly pop up an error message over an over until it just decided to start working one morning. This is also a problem when the sd card gets full. It doesn't just start overwriting the old video, you have to reformat the sd card for it to continue recording again. It will constantly pop up a message that the sd card is full until you do so.-the iPhone app that links to the mirror is very quirky as well. It took multiple days for it to finally start working for me and it only seems to allow you to view live video when it is recording something. Otherwise it shows nothing. Kinda pointless if you ask me. The whole point of being able to view the dash cam feed in my eyes would to be able to check on your car from in your house or job to see what's going on around your vehicle. It won't do that unless it detected motion or a g force and started recording.-the iPhone app doesn't allow you to delete the videos on the mirror, you can only view and save. It should have complete file and setting management ability with the iPhone for ease of use. Some setting can be set via the app but not all.-I'm not happy with the lack of large sd card support. 32GB is the max... That's pathetic. I want 1TB supportThings I like:-simple to set up in your vehicle-sensitive motion detection (during the day) and g force detection-great quality video with sound-easy to navigate menus-the mirror itself is very clear and a great replacement rear view mirror for the price. Even if the camera didn't work, the rear view mirror is worth the price. Has a bluish tint to it that makes viewing pleasing to the eye.-comes with rear view camera with plenty of wire to wire it on what I would say could be almost any vehicle.-The ability to save videos to your phone an share them makes getting videos off the device simple as can beThis is my quick review after two weeks of using this dash cam. There may be other things I forgot to mention about the pros or cons of it, but I feel this covers what I can remember at this moment and overall I do like this mirror dash cam. With a few updates to the firmware and app, it would definitely be a 5 star product.

The good: It does what it's supposed to, it's a functioning dash cam.Has WiFi which allows you to connect to it from your smartphone.The Bad, IMO:As far as I can tell, the rear camera doesn't record while the front camera is recording. It's more of a rear view for when you're backing up. You can connect it to your backup lights to activate when you put your vehicle in reverse. I was under the impression it would record both views at once.The memory card is somewhat of a pain to get in and out.The Android app is functional, but looks like it was developed/programmed either quickly and/or poorly. GUI is not very polished.Manual states you need to use a class 10 memory card to utilize the viewing of the live video from your smartphone. Not in product info or on box, (but I could be mistaken). I was unable to view live video from my smartphone. App live video option would load, but no video. I was able to view the files on the memory card from my smartphone and adjust the camera settings as well though.I used the following memory card:SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDHC Memory Card Plus SD Adapter up to 100 MB/s, Class 10, U3, V30, A1 - 32GB SDSQXCG-032G1040HD video was unusable, video was stop & go, jerky, etc.720 was fine. Each 3min file was 800MB in size, playback was smooth.Video washes out in normal sunlight at times. Night video was acceptable. One could probably experiment with the exposure settings, etc and achieve better results. I used the auto setting.It is certainly usable and I will continue to use it, just wasn't what I expected.

Product works great, had a little problem with programing the unit! Bracket that holds the back up camera needs to be more adjustable as I did mount it on my 2005 Chevrolet Express van, to ease the backing up to my camper! Other wise it will take some time to get the recording working when I need it! Up date: I have received a new Partim Model from Partim and it works flawlessly, with little programing involved and works right out of the box! Just had to set time and date, and with the WIFI model it will be a great addition to my van! Very easy to work with and responded to fix the problems I had!! (Warranty Information? Said to contact PARTIM ! No address was given to contact them! I now have an issue of the PARTIM NX100 Quit working and without the warranty I am wondering how long is it warrantied? Dash cam front camera is working fine, I am facing below problems;if I activate parking & G sensor Loop recording is not working, getting message that memory card is full ( I installed 14 gb Memory card) when reset to default settings loop recording is working, but in default setting parking and G-Sensors are not working.Initially the reveres camera was very clear which is installed on back bumper, but after the water service the back camera gives only blurred images which appears like shadow in the screen. may be water goes inside the camera and it is damaged ( even though the company is claiming that it is water proof)

the instruction are vague but after tinkering around it does everything as advertised. I highly recommend wiring the unit into the cars electrical system so it has power all the time. and the re view camera does its thing automatically.. This produces the best operation. The corner had a small ding in it but I can not say that was the shippers fault as it rattled around in the back of my truck for a week before installed. it does not have the glare reducing feature found in most car mirrors but it does have a glare reducing screen.
