Portrait of a Balladeer

I would have to rate this album 3.5 out of 5 stars. I came late to the party, learning about Sir Charles in 2010. One great thing about that is I was able to collect and listen to all of his music from 2000-2010. Everything was so new and fresh to my ears.Comparing this album to his previous work, I must say, while the material is good, his voice sounds a little weak. Not sure if this has anything to do with a motorcycle accident he was involved in some years ago, or the way it was produced in the studio.If you are a Sir Charles fan, I would definitely buy this album, it's worth the money. But, in all honesty, this album falls a little short of his previous material.

Beautiful cd love listening to it on weekend relaxing and fresh.Sorry this was suppose to have 5 stars.
