Expensive, but they do work well
I suffer from tinnitus and hyperacuity (very sensitive hearing). I wear an earpiece virtually 24/7 (at night, too) to mask the shrill tinnitus ringing with a sound that I designed to divert my brain from focusing on it. Unfortunately, the hyperacuity means that I can't stand to be in loud places, e.g. noisy restaurants. The worst is that I can't sit in a concert hall and enjoy live music, because it's always too loud. My girlfriend is a professional violinist, and I can't even attend her performances. But with this earpiece, I get to play my masking sound at whatever volume I want, AND it knocks down the outside sound level by 20db or more, which makes it pleasant to be in a theater, concert hall, or loud place. You won't be able to hold a conversation, but if you work in a noisy environment (or have hyperacuity and tinnitus, like I do) these will be a blessing.Small warning: You *really* have to insert the plugs as deep as possible into your ear canal to get the sound reduction. When I first tried them, I thought it didn't work at all. Then I made a concerted effort to get them in deep, and the outside sound disappeared. They are comfortable enough to wear for hours, too.

Heavy duty!
Well built! I am expecting these earphones to last me a good long time. Noise reduction is great and the added bluetooth let's me drown out chainsaw and tractor noise all day. So far very happy with the Elgin Rumble.

I use them at work and school. All aspects: Quality product.
These low profile earbuds are perfect. They fit your ears without an issue (even has multiple sized buds if you need them). BUT each bud has multiple tiers of plugs on a single bud AND it comes with replacement squishy buds in multiple sizes. It will be comfortable, you have the options. It comes with a power cable that works amazingly. No joke, I have had to use this cable instead of another product's own provided cable to charge that other device. I don't know what it is, but this quality, down to the auxiliary parts. And if you happen to purchase multiple or want a different color, it does come with that option that can be swapped out as well. Now, for the charging. Battery life is crazy for me. I use it at work where I wear a hood that covers my ears. Most other earbuds are annoying and just rub against the hood. These do not stick out too far, low profile...very nice for me. At school, I can block out all the noise from other students while I study. I can focus in and pair it to my laptop so I can listen to music or whatever I'm studying. These do not feel heavy on/inside my ears. They hang over the ear and a light-weight cable goes across the back of my neck/collar to the other. I don't even feel them.I've had these for over a year now and I'm JUST NOW getting to do a review. I can tell you straight...these are worth the purchase 100%.They will last. Easy to use/charge/fit/customize. And they come with a sturdy case. Everything about this is quality.

Disappointing Durability and Quality - Avoid Elgin Rumble Bluetooth Earbuds.
This is my second pair after the first were replaced under a "warranty claim". The Elgin Bluetooth Earbuds are a complete letdown. After just 12 months of medium use, (typically when doing yard work - mow, edge and blow), I'm utterly disappointed with my purchase.Firstly, the build quality is ok, but not at all where it counts. The charging port is weak, small, fragile and feels awkward when connecting to charge. Each time I felt like I was about to break or bend the contacts in the charging port. Also, you can use just any charging cord. You must use the proprietary Elgin cord, which seems pretty stupid. Very poor durability at the charging port.Additionally, the silicone ear pieces were prone to falling off, and I eventually lost a couple of them, which of course are the ones that fit correctly. This flaw made the earbuds virtually unusable, until I order a pack of 6 on Amazon. Anybody need 4?The sound quality was nothing to brag about either, lacking the ability to suppress surrounding noise. I found my self wearing ear protection over the ear buds. Finally, and this is the reason for the negative review, is the electronic failure to operate as intended. The Bluetooth connectivity drops and reconnects constantly every 3 to 5 seconds. This is highly unreliable and there is not apparent reason for it at all.Elgin's customer support (email only) was simple, file a warranty claim. In conclusion, it's all disheartening considering the price I paid for these earbuds. Recommending you avoid the Elgin because of their poor durability, frequent earbud loss, mediocre sound quality, and shoddy Bluetooth performance. Save your money and look for a more reputable alternative instead. I regret purchasing these earbuds and wish I had chosen differently. Next!
